I Let Her Go... (Naruto Fanfiction) (Part One)

Our A Rank Mission

Soon after our guts were full to the rim, we made out way up to the Hokage's office. Us three boys walked ahead and the two girls were behind us. "So, what do you believe this mission is about?" Sasuke asked cooly with hands in pocket. "Maybe we have to hurt some bad guys! Oh Yeah!" Naruto shouted as he fisted the air. "And when we win, I'll become Hokage!" he added with a grin.

"In your dreams baka" Sasuke chuckled to himself. "Hey! Why don't you shut up for a change teme!" Naruto complained. "Hmph" was his reply. "Well, were almost at the office so best behavior" I interrupted them as Sasuke gave me a death glare. "Don't tell me what to do" he said coldly and slowly. "Sasuke-kun, cheer up! Turn that frown-" as Lenora joined with Sakura "Upside down" they giggled.

I sniggered a bit and Sasuke just frowned, muttering under his breath. "I'll knock, Lady Tsunade? May we enter?" Sakura knocked as the door was closed. It was huge just to hide the Hokage but I don't judge. "Enter" we heard behind the barrier from her room.

Pushing open the door, she sat on her desk, legs crossed and arms by her side, holding up her weight. Her hair was in two pigtails and her hair was long with her lips bright red with lipstick.

"Ah, Team Seven along with Ryosuke and Lenora" she smiled as she told us to come in more. I saw Lenora close the door and joined the line we stood in. "Now, all we have to do is wait for-" "I'm here" Kakashi said as he transported into the room. "Next time, use the door scarecrow" she mumbled and I saw Naruto, Sakura and Lenora snigger. Sasuke's face though, remained expressionless like always.

"Now, as I was saying, this is an A ranked mission and because Lenora is a Chûnin, I have allowed the rest of you to join her on this mission. As well as Ryosuke, he is close to becoming a Chûnin too. After the mission Ryosuke, I will pronounce you as a Chûnin. So, I let Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura join in. And you also have Kakashi who is a Jônin, who is suitable to this task" she started with as she got off her desk and pulled out a scroll from the drawer.

I peeked a look at Lenora and thought 'Since when did you become Chûnin?'. She looked over to me and answered me using her Kekkai Genkai. 'I became a Chûnin a few years ago and suggested that you should become one too because you are quite powerful yourself' She gave a small smile and her eyes turned slightly purple then returned green. 'You are powerful though' I said in my thoughts. 'Same to you. Now listen up' she said back as we looked at Lady Tsunade.

"Now, because we have one, well almost two Chûnin's and a Jônin, this is perfect for you guys as this is suitable for you lot. You will be heading to the Land of Snow, Yukigakure. This is because there is some people that they are taking over the village and slaughtering the Rin clan. The clan which is able to control the cold. It is their Kekkai Genkai like Sasuke's and Lenora's Kekkai Genkai. Sasuke has the Sharingan and Lenora is able to control the mind. I saw earlier you used your power on Ryosuke" she said as she pointed out me and Lenora. Lenora let her hair fall over her eyes and looked back up. "We were just talking" Lenora said to the Hokage.

"Yes, I saw. As I was saying, you set off at three from the southern gates. Your mission is to save the remains of the clan and kill off the people killing them. The people we believe to start slaughtering them is the Shinji clan. They consist of black hair and all have the ability to change a part of their body, into any weapon. They are considered strong so please, be careful on this mission. This mission has no time limit so take as long as you like, but due to the conditions there, I would say you will be there for at least a few weeks. I would hate it if I lost anybody" she said as I heard her voice tremble at the end. "Lady Tsunade?" Sakura interrupted. "Yes Sakura?" The Hokage questioned her.

"I believe that our team is compatible of this mission" she spoke proudly. "How so?" The Hokage asked curious.

"Sasuke has a Kekkai Genkai and has the fire and lightning elements, meaning he has an advantage over the clans. Naruto has wind style and has the nine-tailed fox within him. I have good taijutsu skills and I can heal wounds because of your teachings and the earth element. Lenora has the ability to control the mind like Ino but, she can control the mind of people, change their memory, read their mind and share her thoughts to them. She can also hurt people by just looking at them with her mind by controlling there body. That has an advantage too as it is her Kekkai Genkai. Ryosuke however, has the water element which could be helpful to the Rin clan. Our Sensei has a Kekkai Genkai from the Uchiha clan and has the lightning element. This proves that we each have different elements and could help one another" she explained as she pointed out the key facts.

"Well observed Sakura. You have been watching your team hard" Lady Hokage laughed. "Indeed... I believe to much" Lenora said coldly as she looked over at Sakura. I saw Sakura freeze on the spot as Lenora's eyes went purple. They then change back to the usual green and huffed. "Sorry" Sakura whispered as she looked down to her feet with embarrassment.

"Dismissed" The Hokage spoke as we bowed and left her office. "So, I've got the scroll so meet at the gates with appropriate things and make sure you bring warm clothing." Kakashi announced as he walked down the corridor.

"I'll cya later!" Naruto yelled as he dashed away leaving Sakura, Sasuke, Lenora and I. "Well, Lenora I'm heading your way so lets go" Sakura cheered as the girls left the corridor, leaving me and Mr. Grumpy. "You coming?" I asked him and he nodded. "Sure, why not".

We got outside and realised that we only had thirty minutes remaining. "Better run, cya in a bit Sasuke" I said as I left the road, leaving Sasuke alone.
