11. Official?

I woke up the next morning and as I remembered last night's events, I found myself smiling. I got ready and went downstairs for breakfast. "Good morning mom!" My mom turned around and placed pancakes in front of me. "Good morning Olivia. You seem rather happy this morning. Is it because of your date?" I blushed and my mom got her answer. "It was amazing mom. I really really like him." I finished my breakfast and got in my car, driving towards Madison's house.

I rang the doorbell, waiting for her to open the door. "Well, I'm glad to see you're putting that car to some use." I rolled my eyes and followed her towards her room. "Hey Liv." I smiled as Madison's mother came into view. "Hey Mrs.Parker." "How many times have I told you to call me Sandra?" I just laughed and went into Maddie's room.

"So, give me the details." I took a seat on her bed as she sat on a chair in front of me. "It was awesome. He took me to Daya's and then we went on a walk and I just felt a connection." I looked up to see Maddie smirking at me. "I told you that you guys would start dating. What happened to 'It's just homecoming'?" I rolled my eyes but let out a laugh. "How was I supposed to know he was such a great guy?"

So I told her all about our date in detail as we both laid on her bed. "Look at us both with boyfriends and everything. Who would have thought?" I snorted. "In case you're forgetting, Jacob and I have been on just one date. We're not official yet." This time she rolled her eyes at me. "It's only a matter of time before he asks. Then we can finally go on that double date we've been planning since we were ten." Both of us started laughing as I remembered the date we had planned for us and our boyfriends. We were very young and had just learnt about the concept of relationships. Being best friends, we had promised each other that we would go on a double date when we both had boyfriends.

I smiled as I dreamt about being Jacob's girlfriend. We had just been on one date and I already felt smitten. I was brought out of my thoughts as my phone buzzed.

Jacob: Good Morning <3

I blushed as I read the text before typing out my reply.

Me: Morning? It's almost 11:30.

"Liv you look like a lovesick puppy right now. Is that Jacob?" I nodded.

Jacob: It's still morning. Can I call or are you busy?

Me: No. You can call.

Madison scoffed as she read my reply over my shoulder. "I can't believe you're already ditching me for him." I was going to reply but my phone started ringing. I mouthed a 'sorry' to her before picking up. "Hey." "Hey Liv. Miss me?" I giggled. "Not at all. I literally forgot about you until you texted me." I lied as Madison raised an eyebrow at me. "Oh really? Then I should cancel the date I was going to take you on next week, right?" I blushed as I realised what he was saying. "No! I want to go on that date." He chuckled. "Great. I'll text you the details." We said goodbye and I ended the call.

Two weeks later

I went to school feeling really giddy. Jacob had taken me on three dates over the past few weeks and I truly was smitten. I walked up to my locker, took out my books and headed towards Spanish. I took my usual seat beside Nathan as he smirked at me. "I heard you're really into Collins." He said as he wiggled his eyebrows at me. "You heard correct. Three dates and I'm already falling for him." His smirk turned into a genuine smile as he looked at me. "I'm really happy for you Olivia. But I'll be sure to let Collins know that I won't hesitate to kick his ass if he hurts you." My eyes widened as I took in his words. "You'll do no such thing. Promise
me Nate." He was silent for a moment before answering. "Fine. I won't give him a warning. But I will beat the shit out of him if he hurts you."

I rushed towards where Jacob was waiting for me after school got over. I was about to get inside his car but he stopped me. "Liv I need to talk to you." I furrowed my eyebrows. "What's going on?" He looked at the ground, sighed and started talking again. "So we've been on three dates now and on each date my feelings for you have grown stronger. I guess what I'm saying is.......Will you be my girlfriend?" I grinned at him. "Yes! Of course yes." He pulled me into his chest as my arms wrapped around his waist. As we pulled back, my eyes met his and he leaned in. I smiled into the kiss and moved my hands to wrap around his neck.

I had been dreaming about this moment ever since our first date and I couldn't believe it was actually happening. Just a few weeks ago I was fussing over Nathan but now here I was as

Jacob Collin's girlfriend.
