Laura’s POV

I stare at Kray not knowing what to say.

“If they would just listen to what we felt, then maybe that would never have happened, but I guess that can’t happen anymore.” He said

It took me a while to realize that he was crying. His legs were held up and his hands were in front of him, supporting his bowed head with tears streaming down.

I went close to him quickly and comforted him.

“Kray, I’m sorry I had to let you remember.” I apologized

“If they would just…” He broke off and started sobbing

“Kray… it already happened. It will never happen anymore.” I said

“Please. I… I need some time alone.” He said and started to stand up

“Take your time…” I said

He ran to his room and closed the door.

“He does that a lot.” Frank said on the door of his bedroom

“If you understand then you will know why.” I said

“Yeah I mean he just always does that when-…” He said and stopped when he saw my expression.

“Frank. You do not judge someone you never even talked to.” I said in a very serious tone

“I’m sorry…” He said

Colley came out and went beside me. She tapped on my shoulder.

Where is he? – She asked

“He needs time alone.” I said

Okay then… So he’s not eating again? – She asked

“I guess not…” I said

She sighed

Let’s grab breakfast… - she thought

“Yeah, let’s grab breakfast…” I said

When we were walking to the cafeteria was quiet, and awkward. It feels like I over exaggerated my defence over Kray, but…

Laura held my shoulder and I looked at her. She nodded as Frank opened the door and we walked in, then suddenly, it felt lively. The feeling of rush around the cafeteria took over and my instincts suddenly went over to grabbing breakfast.

Lena smiled at me and gave me my usual breakfast without questions.

“He’s not eating again?” She asked

I shrugged.

“He skipped two meals already!” She said

“He’ll get hungry soon.” I said and smiled at her

I walked over to an empty table minding my orange juice and sunny-side-up and suddenly felt hungry.

I sat down and started chewing while Frank and Colley sat down and instead of eating their food they stared at me.

“What?” I asked

“So… what made him cry this early morning?” Frank asked

“It’s my fault…” I said and slowed down eating

“I didn’t ask whose fault.” He said and shrugged

I stopped eating and looked at them both to see if they’re serious and it looks like they’re dead serious about this subject.
