Henry Bowers

"F-Fuck!"I whisper as I drop my things,"dammit!"
I get down and pick up my books and papers,the Someone yanks me up.
"Hey Watch whe-"Then he stops, I open my eyes and see its Henry.
He puts me down quickly and blushed a scarlet color,"I'm so sorry!"
"Uh-it's o-okay!"I stutter out, he scratches the back of his neck.
"How bout I take you on a date to make it up?"He asks, my eyes widen.
Henry Bowers? Asking me on a date?
"Uh- I -I don't know..."I say, but I go for my books.
Henry stops me and picks them up,"I got it."
I smile and he hands me my books,"Th-thanks."
"So will you? Please?"He asks again, his eyes desperate.
I look down at my feet,"s-sure."
I look up at him and his eyes wider than the Grand Canyon.
He smiles, a smirk I've never seen on his face before,"okay!5:30?"
I nod, "Ye-Yeah!"

  KNOCK KNOCK (wink wonk)
"C-COMING!"I yell, as I walk down the stairs.
I get to the front door and open it, seeing a very dressed up Henry.
"H-hi Henry!"I say,he looks down at me and smiles.
"Hi,"He reaches behind his back,"I got something for you."
It dawned on me that it could be a knife, I mean it's Henry, he would after all.
When he pulls the thing out from behind his back, I flinch a little. He notices and his head hangs low.
"I got these for you,"He says, handing me these beautiful Daisy's,"They're beautiful like you."
I take the flowers,"Th-thank you Henry,I'll be r-right back."
I run and put the flowers in a vase, then I run back to the door. He was standing there, looking at his feet.
I grab his hand and he inner twinned our fingers,"Let's go!"
We walk hand in hand down the side walk, towards town. We get to the park, and I see a table with candles.
We walk up to it and I'm breathless,"Henry it beautiful!"
"No,"He says,"You're beautiful, this is pretty."
I giggle,"Thanks, H-Handsome."
He chuckles and pulls my seat out for me to sit, for a second I feel like he's going to pull it out form under me. But he doesn't and he scoots it up for me, then he sits down across from me.
We talk for a while then I see a boy walk up with a black t-shirt on carrying two take-out boxes.
"One for you,"The boy says, putting one in front of me,"And the other for you."
Then he winks at Henry and walks away, another boy walks up.
His bleach blonde hair distracting,"Drinks!"
He places a wine glass in front of me and one in front of Henry.
"I-is this really wine- or?"I ask, Henry laughs.
"No, just sprite!"He says, then we get to talking.

"So you're telling me, that you've never dated before?"He asks, I nod.
"Wow,"He says,"I didn't even know."
I giggle,"That's p-p-probably the most interesting th-thing about me."
"No! I love everything about you! Your eyes, the way your hair falls perfectly on your face. Your laugh, your smile, your stutter, even the face you make when you get awkward!"He says,"I love you."
I blush,"R-really?"
"Yeah,"He whispers," I really love you."
"Well,"I say," I'm falling for you."
He chuckles,"I'll catch you don't worry."
We both smile, the sunsets as we dine on our take our food.
First date, first love.
What a day...
