Prologue
I watched as he sat in front of me fiddling with the strands of his dark hair. His eyes catching the tiny reflects of sunlight that shone into the dark classroom. I knew he was different straight away, he intrigued me with his every movement, every cough or sneeze and every breath. I knew from the way his dark hair fell in loose curls, the way the muscles in his arms felt almost constricted from his tight band t-shirt and the way he looked around the place like he was always thinking about the world and questioning it.
I knew he would be different but I didn't think he would be this different.
Or such a misery.
