She laughed.
Her ex just told the group that he'll be the one paying, so she laughed- her laugh seems to be hugging the table she's on. Her ex isn't like this way before. He's not this way before.
Did he love her more than he ever did with me?

He almost frowned.
Her laugh seems to be mocking him. Why did she thought that there's a need to laugh? Is there something funny? Does her laugh has something to do about his incapability to pay for their dates when they're together in the past? Did she laugh because she thought she would pay their double date again? Did she laugh because finally- finally he can treat his girl right- the way he wasn't able to do with her?
