Chapter four;Truth

2 weeks later

Maki slowly opened her eyes and groaned 'today's the last day' was the first thought she had when she woke up

She frowned a bit 'I should be happy! I can finally get rid of that idiot!' She thought then tried to smile, but she felt kind of sad

She sat up and got out of bed waking out of her room Kaede was standing there happily "HAPPY ONE MONTH ANNIVERSARY TO YOU AND KAITO" she yelled and hugged her

"Yeah whatever" Maki replied and pulled away from her hug grabbing my phone from its charger

She had a text from Kaito

'Meet in the court yard so we can 'break up' at 10;00 am k?'

She replied okay then looked at the time 9;45, Maki only had 15 minutes before my fake relationship was over

Maki went and got changed and brushed my hair and teeth then left my room "I'm going out to meet Kaito, be back in a few" She said then left the apartment

She stood outside my door for minute and sighed she tried to smile, but she couldn't, she felt sad.. this was supposed to be a happy time for her, getting rid of Kaito forever

But the last two weeks they spent together going on 'dates' were really fun for Maki, she enjoyed it, and she enjoyed being with him, even if he pissed her off all the time

"God dammit Kaito" she mumbled "you suck" she added as she walked towards the court yard, Kaito was waiting there for her

She walked over "morning." She said looking at the grass

"Morning soon to be 'ex-girlfriend' " he replied "I bet you're super excited after this you won't have to talk or look or hang out with me ever again" he said

She faked a smile "yeah! Super excited" she said, Kaito obviously didn't believe her for a minute

"Could it be that Makiroll is sad about this?!" He asked

"I've just gotten used to having your stupid ass around that's all" she replied giving him a puffy face

"I'll miss you too Maki" he said then pulled her into a hug without warning, her face grew dark red as her head touched his jacket / shirt

After he stopped hugging her he smiled and held out this hand and she shook it "Our fake relationship is officially over" he said

"Yeah, guess so." Maki replied with a sigh

"Bye Kaito" she said turning away

"Bye Maki.." he replied, Maki started to walk away, that was it, she finally got rid of him, though it didn't feel as amazing as she thought it would a month ago

She started crying as she walked back to her and Kaede's dorm, her original plan was to fake cry, but there was no need, she had real tears

She opened the door and Kaede looked over at her "Maki what's wrong?" She said standing up and running over to Maki

"It's over Kaede" Maki said quietly then walked straight to her room and locked the door behind her

Kaede got a pissed off look in her eye and stormed out of the dorm running to the boy dorms and Straight I Kaito and Shuichi's dorm

She banged on the door, Kaito opened it up to see a pissed Kaede, Shuichi was behind Kaito "WHAT THE HELL DID YOU DO YOU FUCKING IDIOT YOU MADE HER CRY" Kaede screamed grabbing Kaito by the collar of his shirt she was definitely angry

"Kaede calm down" Shuichi said trying to calm his girlfriend down

"NO, HE FUCKING HURT MY BEST FRIEND" she yelled

"It was all a lie" Kaito said quietly

"What?" Kaede said

"That breakup, those tears, that relationship, It was all a lie, to get you guys to stop you're little match making game" Kaito replied

Kaede let go of his shirt "she's not sad at all, she's ecstatic, she's been waiting to get rid of me all month" Kaito said forcing a laugh, even though it wasn't funny

"Kaito, why'd you guys lie" Shuichi asked

"Because, We didn't wanna be with anyone! And you guys kept trying to put two people who didn't wanna be together, together" he replied

"And you made me actually wanna be with someone who doesn't wanna be with me, so thanks a lot guys" he said then walked past Shuichi into his room locking the door behind him

"Did he just say that he ended up actually liking her?" Shuichi asked

"I think so" Kaede said "I gotta tell Maki" she said then started running down the hall

Maki laid in her room when she heard Kaede burst into the dorm "MAKI" she yelled, making Maki stand up and leave her room

"You guys lied to us?" She asked

"Asshole couldn't keep his mouth shut. Shocker" Maki replied "yeah we lied, I'm sorry Kaede but, I didn't wanna be with anyone, so lying was the only way"

"But Maki Kai-" Maki cut off Kaito

"Just leave it alone, he hates me, I hate him, end of story" Maki replied

"But Maki he-" Maki cut her off again

"STOP KAEDE, JUST STOP OKAY?" Maki yelled then she started to cry

"Maki- you're crying.." Kaede said "do you, like him?" Kaede asked

"What? No way!" Maki snapped Wiping her tears away "I just got used to the idiot that's all, but now it's back to hating each other and never speaking again, so don't interfere" Maki finished then walked back into her room

I didn't wanna rush the him saying his feelings but I can't help but rush things I'm trying to get better I swear.
