It all started with one cold, just
One cough. I caught while I was Training to be a medical assistant.

At the hospital I was at, they were
Trying CT-105. It was going to be a
Breakthrough, help many people
With cancer in Korea. It started in
Different countries, Korea was the
Last to get their hands on it.

The side affects didn't kick in till
The beginning of October. It was
Hell, not just for the ones who
Caught it, but for the hospitals
Trying to help, atleast reduce the
Fevers, red eyes, the aggression.
The victims always threw up blue
Stuff. Even the Virology
Department didn't know what it
Was, nothing they saw before.

The side affects got worse
Throughout the week, everyone
Who caught had a desire to attack
Anyone who was warm. The CT's
had very cold, pale skin, like they
Were dead. But they don't call us
The CT's anymore, they call us the
Cins.

I was attacked by a patient of mine
Who started with a cold, she was
Choi Rae Hoon. When the hosiptal
Was full of the Cins, I took her and
A couple of medical things and
Medicines. Her fever was rising,
Her skin was going whiter, and
Whiter, more dead. I wrapped her
Up in a yellow blanket and carried
Her outside. It was chaos,
Everyone running, cars left
Behind, the Cins chasing after
People. I took Rae Hoon to the
Nearest convenience store and hid
With her. Gave her a fever
Reducer, kept her warm, prayed
For her, but she got worse.

She started to have a seizure, eyes
Rolled back and turning back and
No longer blood shot red. I turned
Her onto her side. She was having
Trouble breathing, so I used my
Finger to clear the vomit from her
mouth, calming and singing to her.
Once she was done, she said my
Name softly. Am I going to die, she
Spoke after a while. I remember
That I told her no. We slept in that
Store for a week, ate ramyeon,
Drank banana milk till she had
Another seizure. But it was worse
Than the first one, her eyes
Changed to a light grey. Began to
throw up the blue stuff again,
Coming out of her eyes and nose.
I panicked and just tried to calm
Her, singing and rocking her.
You're fine Rae Hoon, you're okay,
I said while putting her on my
Chest, her small head on my
Shoulder. She started screaming,
then I remembered.

This happened at the hospital, this
Is how the Cins transformed. I
Remembered. Rae Hoon. I knew
It was time for her but I still held
Onto her. Then she attacked my
Neck, fell back from her force.
Screaming in pain, till I got the
Yellow blanket and covered her till
She stop moving. Crying from her
Little body laying under the yellow
Blanket, from the pain, and my
Fate. I took her back to my
Apartment, left her on my bed,
Closed the door, and took the
Yellow blanket. Going back to the
Hospital, laying in the medicine
Room till I turned.
