I woke up in the chair the next day. My back hurt and I longed to pop it. I was alone now. I didn't know what time it was but I'm sure it was day. "Ugh!" I growled and hit my head on the back of the chair.
"Well, now don't hurt yourself" someone said. I jumped. Maybe I wasn't alone.
Kabuto stepped out of the shadows. I turned my head the other direction. "What do you want?" I snapped.
"I'm here to bring you your food." he said holding a metal tray with a meager amount of food.
I scoffed. "I'd prefer to starve to death." I said.
"I can't allow that. If you don't eat then I'll have to force feed it down your throat." He said with an intimidating frown on his face.
I looked away with a huff. He set the tray down by me and grabbed a syringe with the same liquid that restrained my strength and chakra. I sighed and closed my eyes as I felt the sting of the needle.
After a minute Kabuto unlocked my chains. As soon as my hand restraints fell off I moved quickly and had my hand on his throat.
"Careful now Mizu. I'd have to punish you." I felt his charged hand at my stomach. I let go and sat back. "Good girl. Now I'll be back in an hour. So enjoy your time." he said smiling as he closed the door.
I scoffed, "I'm not your dog." I stretched out. Myback hurt from laying down so long. I popped everything in my body.
I laid back and looked at the food. I was very hungry. It was bread and oatmeal. I sighed and decided that I should eat. I picked up the tray and ate the small amount of food I didn't know what to call. It looked like oatmeal so I just went with it.
My wrists had dark bruises from where Sasuke had to hold me down.
I felt so disgusted with myself for giving in that I barely held back tears. I hugged my knees and sighed. I scooted to the edge of the chair and put my bare foot to the cold concrete floor and shuddered. I pushed off and stood. It hurt but felt better since I had been lying in a hard metal chair for so long. I just walked around the room for a long time. I dragged my hand along the wall.
Then something hit me. Orochimaru will never let me go. Not as long as I'm breathing.
I looked around the room and saw cabinets. I ripped through each one till I found what I was looking for.
I smiled as I held up the scalpel. I heard the scrape of the big door. I didn't look as I brought the blade down on my wrists. I fell back on the ground and dropped the blade. I saw Kabuto and Orochimaru run to me then everything started fading.
"I win." I whispered.
~~~
I felt cold. I felt pain and soreness all over. I opened my eyes and was blinded by a light. I snapped my eyes shut and realized that I was awake. 'How am I not dead?!' I thought easing open my eyes. Same chair. Same door. New chains. I looked around and saw nothing but walls. All the cabinets were gone. Empty. "Maybe I lost." I said and closed my eyes.
"You've woken up finally I see." I saw Orochimaru come in the room. I didn't move. I just looked at his glaring eyes. He raised an eyebrow in question.
"So what is it today?" I asked. He picked up my file and flicked it open.
"Oh I'm at a draw here. Mental state or durability?" he asked grinning. He thought for a few more seconds and looked up. "I think mental state will do nicely." He said with a sadistic look in his eyes.
I swallowed. "What will you do for that test?" I said.
"Not what I'll do dear. It's what you'll do." He said pulling out a syringe. I started to shake at the sight. I couldn't move my arm. Three metal cuffs went up my arm and held it to the chair. Palm up. I already saw multiple bruises from the punctures. He walked over to me and wiped my arm first. Then injected a green substance. I closed my eyes waiting.
Nothing happened.
I looked at him confused and he smiled wider. He didn't say anything as he left the room.
I didn't feel right. I took a deep breath and tried to relax. I looked around scared. The shadows in the corner moved and a crack in the wall would stretch. I heard a drop of water echo off the walls around me. I shook my head and my breathing sped up.
My entire body shook when I saw faces in the shadows. Sometimes the shadows would move out of sight but I know they were there! They had to be, right? Something touched my leg! I looked down and nothing was there. Then my arm and neck and foot. I looked around hurriedly. Then something grabbed my ankle and I looked down at a hand.
I screamed.
Orochimaru
I waited for a few minutes before I finally heard her scream. I smiled to myself as Kabuto walked up to me. "My lord, what test is this?" he asked.
"Mental state." I said and grinned. "I've decided something new."
"What?" he asked.
"Mizu is too strong for just a test subject," I started, "We need her as an ally. And I plan to make her one." I said as we walked away from the screams.
