Aisha let out another scream and she started to struggle more, trying to get away from the psycho's grip. Piers laughed again, loving the reaction he was getting, and raised the knife, about to attack. She realized she wasn't going anywhere, so she just closed her eyes and waited for the knife.

But nothing happened.

Conrad, who had stopped and started to run back after the first scream, got a sudden burst of adrenaline. He rushed towards the two, stopping Piers' attack quickly and holding his arm in place. Chezden quickly followed.

"Aw~ Why'd you have to ruin it?" Piers asked with an annoyed tone. Conrad just let out an angered hiss, trying to pull the knife out of the maniac's hand. Letting go of Aisha's wrist, which caused her to fall to the ground, Piers cackled and easily got out of the German's grip.

"Guess I'll have to end you first," the psycho stated simply, smiling wide. He attacked Conrad, stabbing the German in the arm. Conrad winced, but didn't seem scared. Smiling, Conrad lifted his arm, showing the wound that was healing.

"What the--" Piers' psychotic grin faded and he held a look of surprise. Then, a glare crossed his face. "Well, that's no fun. Fine, I'll give up."

Piers dropped the knife to the floor, smiling crazily once more, "But I will be back."

He stumbled back a bit, eyes closing. When he opened them, the red glint that was there before was now gone, and he instantly held his head. Aisha had gotten up and slowly walked around him, heading to a surprisingly relaxed Conrad and a surprised Chezden.

"Ow. . ." Piers, now back to normal, whimpered. He rubbed his forehead, and the pain finally faded away. Glancing at the other three, he saw a terrified Aisha, the other two expressions surprising him a bit, as they weren't scared. Cautiously stepping towards her, the girl looked him in the eyes to check if he was still crazy.

"I'm sorry, I couldn't control him. . ." Piers murmured. "I didn't want you two to see that, but it was too hard to stop. . ."

"It's okay," was Aisha's quiet response. The group was silent for a second, before Piers had suggested to leave, and they all started to walk out.

"Did I hurt anyone. . ?" Piers questioned, breaking the short time of silence. Conrad shrugged, holding up his arm that was fully healed.

"Well, you almost stabbed Aisha--" Piers looked down at that, "--but you stabbed me in the arm instead. It's okay, I'm healed!"

"Huh?" Piers glanced towards him, seeing as his arm really was healed. "How did you. . ? Wait, are you--"

"--A vampire? Haha, maybe," Conrad replied, shrugging nonchalantly. "A day-walker, I guess. I can stand the sun, sort of. . ."

"Whaaaat?" Piers looked surprised, yet very excited. "Holy shoot! That's awesome!"

His upset demeanour had disappeared, being replaced by his usual happy self. Conrad looked a bit confused.

"I thought you'd be more freaked out about that?" the German tilted his head a bit. "I mean, with the whole, 'I can suck your blood' thing. . ."

"But I've never met a vampire before! This is awesome!" the Brit cheered. Chezden, however, was the one to look a bit more nervous.

"Yeah, I guess that's cool and all, but, does that mean you've been sneaking out every night, going to eat people's blood?" the raven-haired male decided to question. Conrad shrugged, nodding casually with a small 'yup' as his answer.

"Oh," Chezden paused, then added, "Makes sense."

The group got to the car, Piers getting in the driver's seat like usual. They drove back to the HQ, Chezden feeling relieved that they were finally out of the building.

"So apparently there's this weird beach house that has some sort of sewer entrance? The caller wants us to check it out," Piers walked into the room where Chezden sat.

"Seriously? Right after we get back from the scary-as-hell mission?" Chezden deadpanned, only to receive a nod.

"Yup, sorry," the Brit laughed. Chezden sighed, sitting up.

"Welp, guess we gotta check it out, like normal. . ." Chezden got off the couch, crossing his arms. "Any other information about it. . ?"

"Yeah," Piers replied, "It's pretty worn down--" Chezden held a poker-faced expression, "--and the sewer apparently has this weird zip line thing leading through it? Yeah, it's pretty weird, haha! The caller said that it looked like it lead to an underground base, but they were too scared to investigate it."

"Hm," was Chezden's simple response. "That's kinda weird though. So it's not really a sewer, but it looks like a sewer or something?"

"Mhm! Pretty much!" Piers nodded. "Now, come on! Let's go!"

"Alright," Chezden sighed once more. He was definitely not the 'excited-about-creepy-places' type of person.

This time, it was only Piers and Chezden who went to the building. The caller, finally not planning something evil or was the demon itself, told them about it. Apparently, the person always heard weird noises coming from it, and finally, it scared them too much. Much like the other caller with a haunted tornado bunker.

The two walked to the 'sewer', looking down into it. There was a zip line, like the caller mentioned, which had ropes attached to the wire. They looked both sturdy but worn down, which was just a tiny bit worrisome.

The two climbed into the 'sewer', holding onto the ladders on the side.

Piers turned to his friend, "You ready?"

"Well, the ropes look like they could break. . ." Chezden noted with a worried tone.

"You've gotta deal with what you've got, right?" was Piers' reply. He smiled, then grabbed onto one with no dear present. "Ready?"

Chezden sighed, grabbing onto the other one. Slowly, he nodded as he glanced back down the 'sewer'. Gripping the rope tighter and slightly leaning off the ladder.

"Yup. . ." he whimpered. Piers got ready to jump off the ladder they were on as well.

"Alright! Get ready~ Set~" Piers began. Chezden felt fear swell up inside him, he was truest worried if the rope would snap.

"Jump!"

Of course, the sewer house thing was based off that dream I had--

So it's a bit weird--

Also, why is that person living in a rundown beach house? I dunno--
