^^Names of wolf forms and transformations.
FATE
'Can we talk?'
'Sure.' he answered huskily.
I wasn't to sure if coming here was the right thing to do. I could feel Rebekah and her angry shimmer glowing brightly with Mika sitting beside her gaping no doubt behind Derek.
I ignored the evil stares coming from Rebekah and continued to wring my hands; we had a heated argument before coming here.
She didn't approve of me wanting to go anywhere near the wolf lair; something I found quite amusing since it was anything but a lair.
I gasped as I felt Derek come closer to me his hands touched mine stopping them from wringing each other and pulled me to sit down next to him.
His hands didn't leave mine his touch was burning hot making me want more, I didn't understand this need or want for him. I breathed in trying to control the emotions coursing through my body.
I looked up to see Derek's nearly transparent violet mist as it burned brighter and gasped, his head snapped down to look at me puzzled.
'What's wrong?' I didn't know what to say to him. I had come here to talk to about that night and what exactly this was between us, but now I just couldn't form words I was speechless as a mute.
'Fate?' His voice sounded anxious and I watched his shimmering face frown, my hands itched to touch him there but I forced it aside and accidentally squeezed his hands instead.
A smile broke across his face. 'Fate? You wanted to talk?' I snapped out of it and pulled my hands back he growled. I didn't know whether to be threatened at that or not.
I bit my lower lip and almost choked on my spit when he groaned and reached a thumb out to my lower lip releasing them from my teeth.
The touch was so erotic I tried not to moan out but move back in surprise. He growled again in territorial possessiveness. I felt so confuse how I was feeling this way for a total stranger.
'Don't do that.' he commanded huskily his form growing slightly brighter from a pale violet to a rich purple.
'D-Do w-what?' Great now I was stuttering.
'Bite your lip.' He said it like it was the most obvious thing. I pulled away not use to a dominate male wolf.
Maybe coming here wasn't such a good idea. I couldn't exactly tell Rebekah or anyone about him; I didn't understand why I was protecting him.
Well it felt like I was, but why?
He moved closer to me leaning in putting his hand through my right elbow around my waist and letting his palm face down to rest behind on the space behind my butt stopping me from moving further away.
I gulped and thank the Gods that I didn't see things in full colour for the first time because he was so close, so very close to me that I didn't know where to rest my right arm.
I lifted my hand from the heat that radiated from his closeness and rested it palm open on his chest to stop him from getting closer and right then I wish I hadn't.
Images flashed before my eyes of a little boy running and being caught by a beautiful woman with blonde hair, of Derek shifting in a humongous black wolf and the last image was of me riding on top of Derek in his wolf form through a dense forest, bloody and wild; a bite mark in between my shoulder and neck.
I shrieked at that image and at the heat that radiated from him. He felt like rock and smelt of woods and fresh air, oh so very tempting.
He growled playfully at my touch but held firm as his free hand had come to lay over my own on his chest keeping it there.
Oh god maybe I should have let Rebekah come with me.
'Fate? You wanted to talk?' there was hint of laughter in his voice as he repeated himself and I shook myself awake.
His body was making mine do and think crazy thinks I didn't understand. Rosa had never told me about this I was so completely naive about this whole thing.
'I-I-I wanted to talk ab-bout that night in the woods.'
'What about it?' His form shivered then settle when my hands let go of his to reach up to touch his face. He wanted me to own up to it all. Own up to what exactly!
What did he know?
I couldn't control it anymore being near him felt so right all I wanted was to take his face into remembrance.
My hands were only inches away when the bell rang to end lunch.
I sighed then looked down dropping my hands into my lap wringing them together. What had just come over me?
Derek chuckled then stood up lifting me with him.
'Come on?' He ordered and I frowned the independence in me not liking his commanding tone.
'Where?'
He leaned in keeping my eyes on his even through the glasses I was sure his gaze would melt me whole.
'Come with me and I'll show you. Its not safe to talk here.'
I frowned, safe?
'I don't know you?' He brushed his hands across my cheeks making me shiver with heat in the already hot afternoon.
'I know you don't. You don't have to come with me if you don't want to. I would never hurt you.'
Why did I believe him?
Didn't he see that I needed to go with him? Didn't he know that he was a mystery to me?
I looked over to Rebekah her contort form glowing brightly with worry and fear. Probably not liking the expression on my face.
Bekah go on ahead I'll be fine.
She shook her head in stubbornness.
Fate please don't we can't trust him. What am I going to tell your brother when he picks you up?
Don't worry about that I'll come up with something.
Fate you just got back to school and already you're ditching. You don't know this guy! Why are you so intent on doing this?
That was a real good question one I couldn't answer yet.
Bekah please I'll try to explain later.
She seemed to be debating about this, reaching a decision she didn't like. Her shimmer glitch with something I couldn't read.
Was it realisation?
Sigh. FINE! But I swear if I so much as see a hair touched on you Fate I'm gonna end him!
I nodded in relief and smiled a thank you. She rolled her eyes and grabbed a still surprise Mika and hauled him off to class.
I looked back at Derek, he was watching me intently. I couldn't read his emotions it was so hard. His dim shimmer was giving no aura it was frustrating.
Well here goes nothing.
'Okay, let's go.'
