He's honestly a way better singer than me, even though if I tell him that, he'll go on this whole rant/speech about how I can sing better than him if not equally good. He's strange sometimes, but he's my best friend.

"Don't tell me about the rules and break them..." I slowly sang as i strummed my guitar, sitting on my bed. Of course I'd be up at 2am practicing a song that I've loved forever- Ferrari by The Neighbourhood.
That was until my phone buzzed on my desk.

I chuckled as I replied with a quick "you know not to be" , because this was usual. She would post a video and get all anxious because she thought people wouldn't like it.
Of course they'd like it, she sings like a fucking goddess. Especially with R&B songs. She also looks like one, but I couldn't tell her that to her face.
When I met her 2 years ago, i automatically thought, "holy talking cows, she's pretty.", and now we're best friends.

But to be completely honest; her boyfriend, Ashton, kinda scares me. He's known to beat people up in a heartbeat if they flirt with her.

They started dating 8 months ago. She talks so highly of him, and lately I've felt kind of pushed away. Whenever I'm around her, if Ashton comes around, he'll give me this death glare and nudge me away from her without her noticing. He gives me bad vibes.
