Few weeks had passed, and Jay was looking to be improving quickly. Nick hadn't been able to visit, due to him trying to care for Gatsby's moonshine business. Rose had been going to school, but always afterwards, she would walk to Draven and Klaus' house and do her homework there, then they'd drop her off to Gatsby's room until Nick could pick her up to head home.
They all eagerly awaited for Gatsby to finally be set free.

Rose walked off of school grounds and started heading over to Draven and Klaus' home. She always enjoyed the two's little jokes and how they would act like her age. She started to remind herself of what she had to do as soon as she got home.
'In English, I need to finish the book. Math, we only did notes. Mmn... what else did I have...' She was completely lost in her own thought, that she didn't even notice she was going to walk straight into a bustling street.
People clammored for her to stop, but none took action. A harsh yank from someone stopped Rose and put her back on the street. Rose blinked, forced back into reality as she looked around. A young male, about twelve years old, held her close.
"Are you okay? Are you hurt?" He was tall, at least to Rose he was. He was about 4'8", wearing what a Newsie would. He wore a pair of brown pants with matching suspenders, a creme colored shirt, and a tired look in his pale grey eyes. Rose looked up at him.
"I'm okay..." The boy nodded. "You have to be more careful... People won't help you if it puts their ownself in danger." Rose nodded softly. "Come on, I'll walk you the rest of the way home. Where do you live at?"
"... I'm not supposed to trust strangers..." Rose looked up at him with soft eyes that screamed innocence. The young lads heart pounded. "I don't want anyone or anything getting hurt.. Please... after this, I won't bother you ever again."
Rose took a while to respond, but nodded. The two walked off to the little one's destination.
Klaus paced back and forth. "Where is she... she should have been here 15 minutes ago..." Draven looked away from the pot on the stove and went to Klaus. "Traffic might be heavier today." "I don't trust it..."
A small few knocks came to the door. Klaus quickly went to the door and opened it. "ROSE!! Do you have any idea how worried sick we were!?" He picked her up and took her inside, kissing her everywhere.
The young boy kept his head low as Draven looked to him. "Thanks for bringing her home safe." "Y-yes sir..." With that, he quickly left. Draven closed the door and walked back to the pot, stirring it.
Klaus checked Rose for any scratches or harmful marks. "Do you know how worried me and Draven were for you? Where were you? Who was that boy you were with? Are you hurt? Are you okay?"
"You're going to overwhelm her, love." Draven gently brought two cups of tea to them.
"I'm sorry Uncle Klaus..." Klaus sighed softly and held her close. "It's okay love, I just worry for you..." Rose gently took her tea and sipped.
"Dinner will be ready in fifteen minutes. Do your homeowrk in that time." Rose nodded and set the cup down, going straight to work. Klaus walked off with Draven, holding his hand. "I don't know what I'd do without you." Draven simply shrugged and nuzzled him.
A small knock came to the door once again. Klaus went to answer it. He opened the door, and was met face to face with a gun. Eyes wide in fear, he started to tremble.
"Who is it, love?" Draven called out from the kitchen.
The person behind the gun kept the barrel right on Klaus' forehead.
"Where's Rose."
