Mamoru's POV ~ Night

Inside the dusty shed of our hiding I gathered things into a red silky sack, turning back to look at my little brother Hiro.
"Are you sure you want to do this...? We could just stay here and be safe." He said. His little cute voice of an 8 year old, still he understood lots and was a very smart boy.
"Yes... We'll be safe here but not for too long, and we have no freedom here. I'll be back after I get our freedom. And if I dont return, that's because I'm not done yet. I love you my little brother." I gently said. He smiled, and ran back into my parents room. My father walked out to say goodbye. Hiro stayed back to keep my mother from crying and refusing me to leave.
"Im proud of you. Please... Do your best. Im sure lots of other hybrids are looking for their freedom too." He said, giving me his playful nudge and a pat on the back. I smiled and opened the door to the outside world.
I just hope I'll return.
