Tris POV:
"Zeke, I don't think I'm ready to date yet or get married. I mean I just had a baby and I'm really just not ready. I hope you understand. Maybe we can be best friends?" I ask him. He looks hurt and then replies with a simple "sure".
I look over at Tobias. I see he has hope in his eyes and he's happy. Then he starts to speak.
"Tris Prior will yo-" I cut him off there. "Did you not just hear what I said to Zeke. I'm not ready and if I do go out with someone it probably will be with someone who was faithful to me unlike you cheating in me with Shauna."
"But-I-I-" I cut him off again.
"But-I-I that's what I thought." I snap back.
I look around the room and finally realize, they had a gifts for me. Apparently, we are going to have a baby shower in the hospital.
"Okay time to give the gifts!!" squeals Chris.
Zeke- 6 cute onesies
Chris- $100 dollar gift card to Babys R Us
Uriah- baby bottles
Marlene- a basket full of essentials for a baby
Four- a card and baby shoes/clothes
"Thank you guys so much!" I say. "This means a lot to me." I reply.
Just then Shauna rushes in. "I know you guys hate me but this important. Lynn can't breath very well and her brain tumor is getting worse!" she says in a panicky voice.
Everyone rushes out of my room. I'm about to get up but Four tells me to "Stay put. You gave birth." So I don't move.
I sure hope she's okay.
