It had been almost 3 hours since Tiz was in the infirmary. We had left Buddy and Ysa and we were back on the Vizion ship.
I decided to check on Tiz, so I headed down to the infirmary.
I took a deep breath to calm myself for what was to come. I raised my hand and knocked on the door.
"Just a second!" A voice replied from the other side. I waited a second before a doctor opened the door. "Ah, Captain. I was expecting you to show up. What can I do for you?"
"Give it to me straight, doctor. Will Tiz survive?" I asked.
The doctor looked anxiously behind him. A curtain was drawn in front of the bed, so I couldn't see who was inside.
"Well......that is a complicated question. You see, we treated the wound in his abdomen, but we don't know when he will wake up from his unconscious state. It may take days, it may take weeks! But from what we can tell, I think he will survive, but for how long we don't yet know." the doctor replied.
"I understand. Thank you." I replied before turning to leave.
"Oh, one more thing, Captain!" The doctor replied.
I turned back towards the doctor, "Yes?"
"Before he fell unconscious, he said something." the doctor replied, "He said Don't worry about me. Worry about the- and he passed out before he could say anymore."
"I'll take note of that. Thank you." I replied as I turned to leave.
I had only walked a couple of steps before Chiz came running after me.
"The council would like to speak to you, Captain. It's urgent!" Chiz replied, out of breath.
"The council wants to speak with me? After I had just spoken to them not that long ago?" I asked.
"Yes, Captain. They just sent the message a moment ago." Chiz replied, showing me a letter with the council's seal.
I skimmed through the letter as quickly as I could. There weren't many details, which frustrated me a lot. Subconsciously, my hands clenched into fists because of my frustration.
"Very well." I sighed, "Chiz, keep an eye on things while I'm gone...and I mean it this time. I don't know how long this will take."
"But Captain-" Chiz stuttered. Man, it annoys me when she does this.....
"That's an order!" I shouted.
Chiz's eyes were slightly filled with tears. She looked down at the ground and answered, "Yes, Captain." She left after that.
I really don't like to yell at her like this, but sometimes, I have to. It is the only way she will listen to directions like these. Besides, the way things are going right now......she needs to follow my orders more often.
I sighed and ran to the launch bay. Next stop, my home planet and the council meeting.

I entered the meeting hall and took my place on the stand. The 9 council members were all gathered around the large table in front of the stand.
"You said there was an urgent meeting, sirs?" I asked after a brief moment of silence.
"Yes, Captain. There appears to be a problem with following orders." the first member said.
"If I recall, we had told you that you must fire her, and you have not done so yet, correct?" the second member asked.
"No, I haven't done it yet, but I will when the moment arrives." I answered.
"And when will this moment arrive?" The third member asked.
"That is something I do not know, but-" I answered before interrupted.
"-You were given an order! This disrespect shall not tolerated!" The head of the council shouted, "We have given you a chance to redeem yourself...but that time is done. We will have no choice but to consider this....your resignation!"
I kept my composure even though I was shocked on the inside. They have never went this far before!
"Sirs, if I could have just a little more time-" I pleaded.
"The answer is nein!" the head of the council shouted.
Mutters came from the council members until the head of the council slammed his gavel. The muttering stopped.
"I believe it is time to pass judgement. I hereby claim that Captain Biz of Vizion is-" The head of the council said.

"Members of the council, I beg you to reconsider!" a voice replied, "Please, hear me out!"
"WHO DARES TO INTERRUPT OUT MEETING IN THIS WAY!?" the head of the council shouted.
*To be Continued........* ______________________________________ Wow, I feel so evil leaving you on a cliff like this, but I didn't know how long this would end up being, so I split this into two parts.
