It is the year 1978.
Tyler is a 19 year-old beekeeper in his small town of Wilson. He would work everyday to take care of the bees and would then sell the honey in his small shop: Ty's Honey.
Josh is a 24 year-old farmer who always brought in fresh fruit to all the local stores in town as a gift. He loved seeing the happy faces of people when he came in with the box of fruit, but he favored seeing the pure brown eyes that lit up every time Josh came through the front doors of his shop. He always made sure to buy at least one jar of honey from Tyler even if he didn't really like honey and had many jars already stored in his house.
Josh always told himself to not fall for the boy who sold honey. It was forbidden and frowned upon during this time to be gay. It was too bad he hadn't even realized yet how much he was already head over heels for the young boy that sold honey.
