"Thank you so much for coming. I hope you are enjoying the party!" Adrien said.
"Now, since this is a party, I think we should do some fun stuff. Karaoke time!" He said. A screen popped up behind him.
"Whose first?" He knew exactly who was first. They had been planning this for weeks.
"We'll go!" Alya said. Grabbing Nino's hand.
"Great job guys! Next?"
"How about you and Marinette?" Alya asked into the microphone.
"What do you say Marinette?" Adrien asked.
"Ok." She walked up the stage. Feeling nervous, she stood a bit away from him.
She couldn't resist herself. She looked up at his green eyes. And kissed him.
All of the memories came back.
"Adrien. Adrien! I-I re-" she was cut off by his lips. Alya was crying. Nino was hugging Alya. Marinette let Adrien go, embarrassed. All of the party guests were clapping and cheering.
She walked backdown to her seat. Gabriel looked at Adrien. It had to be now.
"I have something very important to say. My son will be dating and marrying someone he loves very much. She is our mayors daughter. Chloe B."
Marinette melted at that. He had given up on her. He broke up with her while she couldn't remember it.
"No. I won't. I have a wonderful, beautiful, talented girlfriend that I love. And I won't let you push her aside like that. Marinette, I-i love you. So much. And I can't even think about a second without you in my life." Adrien said.
"How dare you defy me?" Gabriel said. He was practically fuming.
"I was wondering if maybe when we are a bit older, you would marry me?" Adrien was on his knee, on stage.
Marinette ran upstage, ignoring Gabriel.
"Yes" they kissed.

9 years later.
"And then, mommy decided she was the luckiest person alive." Marinette was telling little Hugo, Luis, and Emma their story. They got out of the car. Walking up the stone path that was laid out. Towards a tomb.
"It's been three months." She said to them.
"But I still love him." She looked at the tombstone.
"And I miss him.

"Come on Bugaboo, you know you love me!"
"He died saving you three" She said. The tears running down her cheeks.
"He died saving something he loved." She dried off her tears
"We never found his body. Or the ring. But we finally defeated Hawkmoth. Even though he probably left someone else in charge. So, I am waiting for hawkmoth to return and strike harder." She was walking back to the car now.
"Which is why i can't be ladybug any more." Shutting the door she looked at his grave. This would be the last time she saw it.
She opened a little case. And she took off her earrings.
"Until we meet again Tikki." She placed them inside and closed it. The box was to not be opened until it got new owners.
Or that's what she thought.
