My Dream pt2

After a few hours

The doctor came out of the operation room

"Is he okay?",your mom asked the doctor tiredly

I only stood beside her and let her do all the talking

"Well we have bad news and good news" the doctor sighed

"What's the good news?", I finally spoke

"He is stable now and luckily he didn't have any serious injuries", The doctor said

"And what's the bad news?",your mom asked the doctor while gripping my hand tightly.

"He doesn't have enough blood so he needs blood donation"the doctor explained.

Your mother sighed and I did too because thank god it wasn't anything bad.

"I could donate the blood", your mom said tiredly but then the doctor sighed and said
"I'm sorry but you can't donate your blood because according to the charts your body is very weak so we need other people to donate"

"Dont worry I could donate my blood type is O", I volunteered quickly.

"Okay then miss please follow me",the doctor said and guided me through the hallway

After the blood donation process

" Thank You",your mom told me with a glimpse of light in her eyes

"No problem", I told her and gave her a small smile

"I already saw my son would you like to visit him", she asked me and I nodded

I walked into the room and there I saw your body but this time it didn't seem lifeless it just seems empty

I walked over beside you and sat down on a small stool and held you hand

Without realising it, tears suddenly started to form and I kept on saying I'm sorry over and over again

After a few minutes, the doctor told us to leave so that the patient can rest

Then suddenly your mom asked me

" What's your relationship with him?"

"We're just classmates" I answered

"Well you didn't seem like just a classmate to me",she said

" I love him but he doesn't love me back", I whispered slowly but your mom caught what I was saying and her face fell

"I'm so sorry",she apologised

" its okay.....I'm okay"

You have to be in the hospital for months and for all those months I was the one who took care of you at the hospital

I skipped school so that I can take care of you

I lied to my parents so that I can take care of you

But

You don't know all of this

After a few months

I was reading a book while sitting on a stool beside you and I was about to leave when suddenly you grabbed my hand

"Are you awake?" I asked you slowly

You opened your eyes and grabbed me tighter

But then the first word that came out of your mouth was another girls name
