Heine along with the Viktor, (who both dressed in commoner's garb), rode a carriage into the starry night. What Heine had feared most has become his living nightmare. As he sat in the carriage, Heine felt himself shaking violently, as sweat covered his palms feeling as though he had been set on fire. The unimaginable sight of the prince's accident before his eyes. It played over and over again in his head, like a broken record.

"Heine!" Viktor shouted, tears streaming down his face.

Heine snapped out of it as he turned to look at the tearful king.

"Everything will be ok right Heine? Tell me so!" The crying king exclaimed.

Heine could only look away, unable to face his majesty.

Viktor and Heine jumped out of their carriage finally arriving at the scene. They looked around, but couldn't find signs of any of the princes anywhere.

"Excuse me, sir," Viktor said, pulling himself together, to one of the policemen on the scene.

"The people in that carriage. Have they been taken to the hospital?" The king said worriedly.

"Yes," the policeman assured. Yes, they have."

Viktor knew that in accidents such as these, the victims are taken to the closest hospital.

"Let's go, Heine," Viktor said.

Heine nodded and he and the king traveled in the carriage.

Once they arrived, Viktor spoke to one of the doctors.

"Excuse me," Viktor said. Have new patients been admitted here, four young gentlemen?"

"Yes," the doctor said. But what relation do you have to them?"

"I am their father," the king said sternly. I want to see them immediately and know their current condition."

"Sir you can't-"

"Father..." A trembling voice said.

Peering out of one of the rooms was Prince Licht, his forehead wrapped in bandages as tears streamed down his face covered in scrapes and bruises.

"Son!" Viktor shouted as he and Heine ran over to him.

Licht and his father held each other in an embrace.

"Oh, father!" Licht shouted as tears poured down his face like raindrops against a window on a stormy night.

"Are you alright? Are you hurt badly?" The King said worriedly.

"It's just a bad knock on the head. Same with Kai. We're covered in scrapes and bruises. But Leonie and Brunie..."

"Where are they?" Heine finally spoke.

Licht pointed towards the room where he was in. There the king and Heine saw Kai, his forehead wrapped in bandages, and his face covered in scrapes and bruises like Licht's as he watched over his two younger brothers lying unconscious in their hospital beds.

Viktor and Heine rushed over to their side.

"My sons!" Viktor hiccuped between sobs.

Heine didn't hear the distressed king, nor did he notice Kai and Licht's tear stained cheeks. He could only look down at his greatest fear that he prayed would never come true.

He put his hand under his glasses and covered his eyes, nearly covering his entire face.

"Dear god," his mind spoke.
