Welcome! In my short time since joining wattpad, I've had several conversations where either myself or someone else has had a hard time providing meaningful feedback. Especially when there isn't much to improve upon if the spelling and grammar are perfect, or if the only things you could say would be preferential to a genre or style.

So I went looking for what else I could say to help provide meaningful feedback. The following chapters break down what I've learned over the years, and some of what I've learned from recent research. Hopefully it will show some of our authors things to think about when providing feedback, as well as things to think about in their own writing. The concepts are provided from the easiest, to the most difficult to see, (things like plot, pacing, and tone can truly only be grasped after several chapters into a book, or even after reading the whole story).

If there are elements that you believe I missed, please leave a comment so I can add it for everyone. Thank you and I hope you enjoy!
