34. Akabane Karma x Oc

Take note only a few one shots are x oc and this will be in 3rd person :)

  Mei Wakaba, a very shy girl. Being shy had its advantage and disadvantage but mostly, it was the disadvantage that was obvious. Sometimes people would approach, in hope to have a conversation. However, being shy, she would not talk much and so she was thought to be rude by many.

  Despite being thought rude, she caught the eyes of a certain infamous guy in her class, Akabane Karma. He would steal glances at her, curious of what she would do. He never had the intention of talking to her but one day, he heard something about her that made him even more curious.

  "Hey! Did you hear that Mei was actually sucidal?"

  "What? No way! She always looked so cold."

  "She hides almost everything from everyone, even I can't stand her anymore."

  From then on, Karma observed her even more intently after listening to a conversation.

  "Hey, Mei, right?"

  "Yes, who are you?"

  "I'm Karma, wanna hang out?"

  "... sure" She agreed after considering for a long time, blushing from an absurb question. She knew how popular he was, she didn't want to create bad impressions yet she did not experience this before.

  Since then, Karma continued asking her out and she slowly developed feelings for him.

  I should start avoiding him...

  With that thought, she started avoided him whenever she could, making Karma very frustrated. This continued for a long time, hurting her even more.

  Wouldn't I stop feeling this if I stopped talking to him? Why is it hurting so much...

  Little did she know, it started hurting him as well, until he finally reached his limit.

  "Mei! Why are you avoiding me?"

  "I'm not... what are you talking about..." She avoided eye contact as much as she could, feeling the guilt in her.

  "Tell me why you're ignoring me." He said strictly, scaring Mei that have never felt Karma being so cold. Not being able to stand his intent gaze on her anymore, she finally looked at the ground and broke down, blurting out everything.

  "I started feeling things for you... and I hated that! I didn't want that! Everyone leaves, if you leave after making me feel comfortable around you... I won't know what to do anymore...  I don't know what I may do to myself... I thought keeping my distance would stop what I feel but... it hurts... so much more... I can't do this anymore..." Trembling, she shouted out with tears rolling down her cheeks.

  "I won't leave... I won't." He slowly embraced her, treating her like she was so fragile, like she would break if he did anything wrong, like a porcelain doll. Well, she looked like one.

  "I don't know..."

  "I'll prove it to you, give me a chance," Without hearing for her answer, he immediately took her in for a tight hug.

  Not knowing what to say, she only nodded, deciding to give him a chance, deciding to let someone in her life...
