|Behavior/History| Lyra ran away from a home with numerous (7) children. Five were young and tended to pull her tail and mess with her ears. She only snapped at them, or gave them harmless growls. Each time she did, she received a harsh smack from her owners. Her breaking point was when her oldest offender, a violent child at the age of four, decided he wanted to play a game with her.
So he proceeded to copy his parents in some actions, running up to her, smacking her, then darting away. Each time, he'd switch it up. Sometimes he'd pull her tail, her ears, her limbs. Finally, he ran up ro her and jumped on her. She growled and bit at him, making a deep wound on his arm. Lyra was scolded and beat, before being chained up outside in the dead of winter. They left her outside for days, giving her only a bowl of food - that quickly went bad from being outside in the snow - and a bowl of water that froze overnight. After nearly five days of insufficent food, she pulled hard enough to snap the frozen chain. Then she ran. She doesn't trust humans, though is civil enough towards other canines
~The humans had three children when they adopted her. A girl at the age of twelve, a boy at thirteen, and another boy - the violent child from above - at the age of one. They wanted to complete their family with a dog, so they adopted her as a pup.all was well, until they had another four children. A set of triplets - two male, one female - and another little girl. Each a year apart. Ages were: 13, 12, 4, 3, and 1
