Tomorrow's my birthday. I'm 22 tomorrow but the most important thing is I get to be with steph all day. I haven't seen her since the day I come back to LA. We FaceTime all the time when we both aren't busy and text like crazy. We've been talking about moving in together and I can't wait for that too happen. I felt my phone go off and saw it was a text from steph.

D- OMG!!! Can we get a pet 🐼 when we live together?!!! I've always wanted a pet🐼.

I put my phone away and got really to go out with my girl friends, shopping for new outfits tomorrow.

Steph POV

I swear Demi's is the cutest. I walked into the meeting room and sat down next to my manger Mia.

"Okay now that steph is here let's start" Mia said standing up.

Blah blah blah....

"Okay steph so tomorrow your perform in Canada and after then we can start on some new songs" Mia said.

"Wait! Go back! Tomorrow what!!?" I said. I asked for tomorrow off to be with Demi on her birthday.

"Tomorrow your performing in Canada but we're leaving tonight" she said looking at my whole crew.

"Uhh.. No I specifically asked for tomorrow off and the rest of the week" I said angrily.

"Well I'm sorry Stephanie but everything booked already I can't do anything about it the company decided, not me" she said with sadness in her eyes. Mia isn't a bad person trust me she isn't, that day with Demi she had got into a fight with her wife. She's been waiting to call Demi up and apologize for everything.

"Well looks like we all can't go on our break, I'm sorry guys I know how much we all wanted this break. Mia with her wife and kids, George wanted to go on that fishing trip his been planning. I'm so sorry guys I really am. I wanted to go back to Dallas for a while but I can't." I said in a sad tone. I really wanted to stay with Demi and go back to Dallas with her but I can't now. Oh shit Demi. She's going to be so sad when I tell her I can't go.

"We're very sorry, your going to miss Demi's birthday" one of the crew said.

"Yeah it's okay though. Let me go give her a call" I said standing up walking towards the door.

Demi POV

"Demi!! Demi!!" My mother yelled walking into my house with Eddie and Maddie.

"MOM!" I yelled running to hugged them all.

"Honey I can't believe your 22 tomorrow" my mother said hugging me again.

"I know mom I'm proud of how far I've come" I said as I thought of all the bad things I have faced.

"We know honey. We're very proud of you Demi" Eddie said hugging me. I couldn't help but breakdown crying. In my parents arms.

"It's okay honey, don't cry tomorrow's your day" my mother said hugging me.

"Speaking of tomorrow... Is steph coming?" Eddie said smiling. Both of my parents loved her over the weeks my mother and steph got very close.

"Yes she is. She's actually coming tonight" I said smiling though my tears.

"That's great I miss my best friend " my mother said laughing. We all laughed until I heard my phone go off.

"I think that's her now" I said running to my phone. In fact I was right it was my love.

"Hey baby we were just talking about you" I said smiling.

"Ello love and really I'm hoping only good things"

"Only good things baby.. So what's up? What time you getting here?"

"Umm.. Demi, baby I'm so so sorry but I won't be able to make it. I have a performance in Canada, I can't get out of it. I'm sooo sorry Demz" I dropped my phone and started crying, I run upstairs into my room locking the door.

Steph POV

I heard Demi start to cry and drop her phone.

"Hey steph it's mom, don't worry about Demi she'll be fine. We understand you can't come but don't worry we'll make it work" her mother said.

"I'm so so sorry I just can't get out of this" I said as a few tears fell.

"It's okay steph call her tomorrow or something" she said.

"Please tell her I'm sorry" I said then hanged up.

I walked in the meeting room and sat down. Everything kept their eyes on me, I looked up at everyone.

"So what's the plan steph" Mia said smiling. I looking at my crew they all smiled.

"First we'll need to call katy..." And so that how our plan was made...
