⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Max rolled his eyes at his sister "we are nearly there!" he called back at her, she groaned before picking up her pace to keep up with her brother, her day had already been bad enough with kids at school making fun of her about her love for the magic of neverland and Peter Pan story's
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀her hope that magic was real was crushed all together today when her book had been ripped apart. "Max are we almost-" her mouth hang opened at the sight of the beautiful lights in front of her eyes, a wide smile from her brother as he looked down at his sister
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"what are they?" she questioned her eyes running around at the lights, she held her hand out slowly as one came close to the siblings, it landed slowly on her hand "they are fireflies" her brother smiled at the light shining in her eyes
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"they are beautiful" she mumbled as the firefly flew away from her hands, she laughed before running full speed into the grass patch in front of her, a loud giggle leaving her lips as she spun quickly trying to get a look at every firefly that flew around the young girl
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"it's like magic!" she called towards her brother who was making his way quickly over to his sister as she smiled so brightly, he kneeled down next to her as she locked eyes with the oldest Havey sibling "I guess it's to bad magic isn't real" Max frowned his eyebrows at his sister words so quickly
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀"no Ryder! I brought you here to show you that magic is real!" Ryder felt confused as her brother placed his hand out. a firefly landing on it slowly "fireflies are tiny messengers that whisper in the darkness" he told her before bring the firefly to his ear
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Ryder laughed "what are you doing?" Max hushed her "yes I agree" he nodded like the firefly was whispering to him "what did he say!" Ryder asked quickly her eyes widening her grabbing onto Max's knees to steady herself
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Max smiled as he pulled the firefly away from his ear "he said 'don't lose hope because magic does exist'" Ryder laughed "no he didn't" she crossed her arms over her chest "yes he did! I heard him" Max explained with a smile "listen quietly" he whispered bring the firefly to her ear
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀she listened carefully, her eyes following the other fireflies around her a small smile playing at her lips, the whisper of the wind made her jump "I heard it!" the girl said jumping in happiness
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀Max let the firefly go as he laughed at his sister "don't let anyone tell you what to believe little sister" he told her, Ryder threw herself into her brothers arms quickly before she began running around with the fireflies once again
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀and the lights danced around her as she laughed in happiness believing in magic once again.
