Dinesh Trivedi was the Headmaster of the local government school. Everyone respected their Masterji and his wife. They had two beautiful daughters, Neetha and Garima. Neetha, the elder was the crazy, talkative one while Garima was the sweet silent one. But it is said that appearances can be deceiving, same was the case with Garima. She was someone with a lot of ambitions, but not really ready to work to achieve them. She always tended to take shortcuts. She was always attracted to expensive objects. She would ask her parents to get it for her, but they didn't comply because those were unnecessary. That would anger her a lot, but she would stay silent. She would instead befriend the rich kid, with whom she had seen the thing and eventually she would create such situations that he/she would give it to her.
She always hated her elder sister. Reason, everyone loved Neetha eventhough she was naughty. She always felt that their parents loved Neetha more than her. Everyday her mother would ask her to carry the used plates back to the kitchen. She would ask Neetha to leave the plates and go to her room, even if she offered to help. Her mother always made her do the work while Neetha lived like a Queen. Neetha got whatever she asked for, while their parents always denied her. Her parents or neighbours never scolded Neetha, even when she climbed over the walls and stole fruits from their orchards. The one time Garima stole a Fountain pen from a class mate, she was scolded so bad. Her father even raised his hand to beat her.
What she never saw or didn't try to see was that Neetha cooked the entire dinner each day, stating that their mother reworked he whole day. She would say that her little sister was too young, so she be left alone. For her Garima always remained her little sister... Too young to do work.
Their neighbours never complained because she always did chores in return for the fruits she took. They themselves offered her keys but she would deny stating that climbing over the wall is more fun, making them chuckle.
Their parents got her everything she asked for because she rarely asked for anything. She asked for things only when absolutely necessary.
Neetha grew up loving everyone and treating her sister as her kid even though she was just 2yrs elder to her.

And Garima.... She grew up loathing her elder sister....

Neetha completed her studies with flying colours and joined the new factory as an accounted. Two years later Garima too completed her studies and joined a renowned textile factory. She wanted to join somewhere better than her sisters work place.

One of those days Garima met her Boss's younger brother. He was a man with charms and she immediately fell for him. Well atleast for his money. The handsome man was just an add-on.

Arnav: "poor guy..."
Khushi: "poor guy? You shouldn't judge someone easily. As I said appearances can be deceiving!"

What Garima didn't know was that her lover was already married and had a little kid. As always she didn't see anything other than the riches. When Neetha came to know about his true face she confronted him asking him to stay away from his sister. Garima who came there at the last minute misinterpreted the whole situation. According to her, Neetha was trying to destroy her life, because she was jealous. Garima was pregnant with his child and was dreaming about the fortune she was going to get. He asked her to forget him as her family was not happy. He avoided her henceforth. Not because Neetha asked him to do so, but because he was done with her.
Garima created a big scene at their house accusing Neetha. Their father was shocked knowing about her affair and her pregnancy. Even Neetha was shocked. She didn't know that, that man had already destroyed her sister's life.
The next day Dinesh accompanied Garima to his house. There was a marriage happening there that day.
He refused to meet them. And instead it was his mother who met them. She accused Garima of being a characterless girl, trying to trap his married son. She said that she might agree that her son had a relationship with her, but what was the guarantee that he was the father of the child. The girl who was ready to be in a physical relationship with someone before marriage would even be ready to have relation with multiple men.

They tried to meet Avinash again. But he refused even knowing Garima. He too insulted her calling her a gold digger. And Garima, she blamed the whole thing in Neetha refusing to acknowledge that Avinash was nothing but a cheat.
They had to do something about the baby. They couldn't abort it as Garima's health was not favouring. Then Dinesh met Shashi. Shashi had been a student, and now was a widower. He had lost his wife and child in an accident. He agreed to accept Garima and her child thinking that she was a poor girl cheated by her lover.
In all this mess Neetha didn't know how to tell her father about her love. She was in love with the manager of her factory, a simple man. Her dad was looking for a groom for her too. They couldn't marry their younger daughter off before the elder. She tried to tell Dinesh about her Manager Saab. But he got mad hearing her. One daughter was already cheated in the name of love and now the other too was telling that she was in love. He failed to acknowledge that both were entirely different individuals, that his elder was more mature. He was not even ready to know his name. Neetha had no other way, but to elope with her Manager Saab.

She was surprised to see the big mansion in front of her. She looked at him questioningly. She saw the owner of their factory step out if the house with his family.
"His younger son wants to marry you and my task was to bring you here...."
