Haunted Apartment

Chapter 1

I shifted to a new apartment in North Street, California.It was a big 3 bhk apartment with woodwork and all and the most amazing part is I got it for 30,000$ only .Well this did bother me at first but after watching the apartment I just couldn't resist to buy it.
I shifted there after a month I bought it.The very first day was quite hectic.I did all the unpacking and stuff and finally at 12:30 I went to sleep.At about 2 am I heard some kind of sound.....I exactly don't remember it but it was kind of cracking sound but I was so tried and I ignored it and slept.
Next morning I woke up late.In a hurry I got ready and left for my office.It was a bright sunny day ,I had meetings to attend and a lot of stuff.Everyone knew that I had bought a new apartment that too on North Street and obviously they demanded for a house party and I had no option but to say YES.
So,I organized a house party at my place the next day . Everyone was coming home tomorrow so I had a lot of work to do so,I dropped by a nearby supermarket and bought a lot of stuff like crockery,wine glasses ,wafers,pasta ,drinks and all.I asked the cashier to deliver all the stuff at my place.He was happy initially to deliver it as I had purchased a lot but when I told him that I live hat apartment 401,Hannah tower ,north Street he refused to deliver it not because it was far or other policies but because he was afraid to go there.It was kind of wired .I was already running late so I took a cab and took all the stuff with me.
I reached home ,had my dinner ,decorated the house and trust me my apartment was looking nothing less than a palace.A Royal sofa with a big circular glass table in the middle.After doing all this I went to sleep.And again at about 2:45 am I heard that cracking noise again .I went to check it. It was coming from kitchen and what I saw next still gives me chills .I saw a women with burnt face eating a cat and making that cracking sound from her mouth .Her eyes shined bright red as she looked at me .I was shocked and I started running and suddenly something pulled my leg and I falled down .After that all I remember is that I woke up in the hall with a print of hands on my leg and a scar on my forehead.
I was really scared.It was something unusual that I saw last night.
