~Y/N POV~

I wake up the next morning to the sound of people talking. When I open my eyes I see Jaime, Tony, Oli and Jace, they are all engulfed in their own private conversation. Vic is still asleep, he sits on the same chair as last night, his back is hunched over so his head is resting on the edge of my bed, his beanie is about to fall off so I gently pull it off of him, placing it on my head.

"Morning," I say. Instantly their serious faces and voices get thrown out of the window.

"Hey!" Jaime yells, he throws his arms around me making me laugh.

"Jaime... I need air," I say, Jaime chuckles letting go, I receive hugs from everyone else, the commotion eventually wakes Vic up.

"Wha, what's going on?" he says yawning.

"Calm down Vic," Tony says smiling, Vic scratches the back of his head looking around.

"What time is it?" He asks.

"It's almost eleven," Jace replies.

"We should be able to go back soon," Jaime says right as a male nurse walks in.

"Good morning, I've just come to check your cast to see if it's fully dry," he starts explaining with examining and feeling the cast. "Which it is, I'll be back in a couple of minutes with some crutches," he finishes walking out giving me a smile.

"So, how'd you sleep?" Oli asks me.

"Shit, not being able to move, with constant beeping, talking and crying," I explain, Oli gives me a sympathetic look.

"Yeah well, at least it was for only one night," he answers.

"Yeah, I slept the same, I can relate," Vic says holding up his hand, I chuckle.

"Just you and me now Vic," I say high-fiving him, the nurse from earlier walks back in with a pair of crutches.

"Now, let's get you to stand up and see how comfortable you are with these," he says, he hands the crutches to Vic before gently removing my leg from the strap-thingy, Oli then helps me sit up on the edge of the bed.

"Okay now I'm going to need you to stand on one foot so I can adjust the crutches to suit your height, and giving how small you are, there's a chance that they'll need to be the smallest they can go," he says chuckling, everyone else laughs too.

"Shut up," I say blushing, the nurse whose name tag reads Carter lowers the crutches to the lowest setting, Vic helps me stand up and I grab the crutches from Carter placing them under my arms.

"Lucky you, they're too small, but only just," He explains, he takes one of the crutches making them just a little taller, he then repeats the process with the other one, this time they feel much more comfortable.

"There we go, but you can't go yet, you still need to learn," Carter says, I smile and start to move around the room with them. "Seems like you're a natural, so that means you may go after your... dad?" he says unsurely looking at Vic, he shakes his head.

"I'm her uncle, her dad isn't here right now," Vic says, I frown looking down at the ground.

"Oh okay, that works too, come with me then Mr. Fuentes," Carter replies, Vic and Carter walk out of the room and I sit back down on the bed.

"Babe, can you please help me with my shoes, I mean shoe technically," I say looking up at him, Oli nods and bends down in front of me to put only my right shoe on.

"Alright, time to head back to the bus," Vic says walking back in, Oli helps me stand up and Jace carries my bag after putting my phone's charger in it.
