"Mason, glad you could come" Elena says letting him in while you stand dumbfounded, the whole night you wondered why Mason was her, and by here you meant mystic falls
"Are you actually going to say something or am i wasting time?" you turn to see Mason
"sorry, its just that i was lost for words, i wasn't exspecting you to be here, let alone Mystic Falls" you admit and Mason smiles
"I could ask you the same question, and im Tyler's uncle, Richard's brother, he died if you didn't know so i was here for the funeral, plus Elena and I met at the founders ball" he says and you go quiet again, instead of saying anything you just walk off
