Chapter 1 : the dream

Yo! Welcome to my first story! It's gonna be pretty bad so prepare to cringe oh and this is gonna be a short first chapter so sorry for that! I tried to wrap up the previously part of the story as quick as I could but I should be spending more time on the other chapters. No flames please!

Dream

It had been several days since the GMG's had finished, making us the top guild in Fiore again. I was currently walking to the castle that was the guild hall for fairy tail with hands nestled comfortably behind my head, thinking about what I would do today "Who's face should I beat in, Ice Freak deserves it but Erza would be more fun. I know I'll decide once I get there!" Walking through the sunny town of Magnolia something felt a little off... But I just brushed it off and continued walking to the guild hall. I kicked the giant doors open and the first thing I saw was thousands of swords slamming into my face. I could barely make out what was happening but I managed to make out spells being cast by my friends, I wanted to question what was going on and why they were doing this but all that came out was a growl, which seemed to enrage them more as they attacked even harder than before.

Ice make: Hammer!

Requip: Heavens wheel!

Open gate of the lion: Leo!

I was on the brink of death when Gramps finally came up to me, staring at me with cold eyes "what the hell is going on Gramps!?" I asked him, expecting to hear a reasonable explanation for the beating but instead he walked up to me slowly, footsteps echoing throughout the large hall, when he stopped I felt a sensation on my shoulder that I had never felt before, it was burning. I fought back against what he was doing... But it didn't work and the old man ripped off my guild mark taking a part of me with it. I ran and I ran and ran, for miles that was all I did. I ran until I was down on my knees panting, I spotted a clearing nearby and lay down on the soft grass contemplating what I should do next. After a while of thinking I settled on making up for all the losses: my family, my home, my scarf and the one thing that meant more to me than anything else in the world

Dream end

I woke up, startled from experiencing that all over again. "Looks like I'm really going through with it..." I told myself "I'll see you soon, Fairy Tail."
