Ènergie de Monstre

Adrien's Point of View
I couldn't pay attention during the lesson. My mind was focused on Marinette. My hand was entwined in hers, and she kept trying to pull it away, but failing. I loved her touch. It was warm, soft, comforting-
"Adrien." I sat up straight.
"Yes?"
"What is the main idea of the passage that I just read to the class?" She said. I looked at her. She was holding a paper packet. Oops. 😬
"Uhhh...." I started, but was interrupted by a big crash that made half of us slide to the left of our seats. An akuma attack!
"Saved by the akuma." Marinette said to me.
"Haha." I sarcastically said.
"Go home everybody, go someplace safe!" Ms. Bustier said. We all got up and ran out the door. As soon as I was out, I ran to the bathroom. "Plagg, claws out!" And I felt the regular rush of being transformed into a superhero. I leapt out of the bathroom and tried to locate the trouble. I then saw it. Standing in the middle of the school was a person in a completely black suit with a whip that looked like it was made out of a bright white light.
"I am ènergie de monstre! English translation: Monster Energy I must show people that they need to conserve energy. And to do that, I will use energy in its purest form!" He said, holding up his whip, which I now understood was pure energy. Boy, that would hurt to get hit with. "I have also come to take Ladybug and Chat Noirs miraculous's! So tell me where they are!" He shouted. Oh great.
"Hawkmoth doesn't know about me yet." I turned to see Esprit Fox standing next to me. "So I'm your secret weapon."
"Yeah." I said.
"I'm here." Ladybug said behind us.
"About time, M'lady." I told her.
"I'm thinking the akuma is in his whip." Ladybug said.
"I'm not touching that!" I said, imagining getting fried alive.
"What about his bracelet?" Esprit Fox suggested.
I looked closer and the only thing that he was wearing that wasn't black was the purple beaded bracelet on his wrist:

"Good eye, Esprit Fox!" Ladybug said.
"Thanks!" She replied.
"Chat," I stood at attention. "You distract ènergie de monstre while Esprit Fox hides and keeps him in one place with her blasts of wind from her flute while I sneak up behind him and take his bracelet."
"How did you know that I can create blasts of wind?" Esprit Fox asked Ladybug.
"When I left the Eiffel Tower, I looked back and saw you flying using your flute, so I pieced two and two  together."
"Oh, okay."
"I can't distract him." I suddenly said.
"What! Why?" Ladybug asked me.
"Because I have to go and look for someone to make sure that she's safe." Ladybugs eyes widened.
"She'll be safer once the akumas taken care of." Esprit   Fox  answered  for   her.
"No, you don't understand!" How could I tell them that I was going to be a father and needed to protect my pregnant future wife?
"Akuma first." Ladybug  said  forcefully.
"No." I said, and bounded off.

Alyas Point of View
"I guess it's just you and me." Ladybug told me.
"I'll distract the akuma and keep it at bay while you try for the akuma." I gave the idea.
"Sounds like a plan." She said. I was excited. My idol liked my idea! 🤩
I looked over to see Rose recording the akuma. Since I was a superhero, I asked her to record the fights instead of me, but I told her that it was because my mom didn't like me putting myself in danger for some footage. Luckily, Rose agreed.
"Go!" Ladybug said, and I wasted no time.
I leapt down from the railing and did a perfect flip in the air before landing in that superhero position. You know, the one with one hand, a knee and a foot on the ground. I slowly stood up and walked towards the akuma. He looked up at me.
"Who are you?" He asked me.
"I," I said, pausing for a dramatic effect, but loud enough for everyone to hear. Wow, this is going to be awesome for my blog! "Am Esprit Fox. I will protect Paris from Hawkmoth with Ladybug and Chat Noir." I then raised the flute to my lips and blew into it, causing ènergie de monstre to slide across the ground for several feet.

Adrien's Point of View
"Marinette!" I shouted, looking at the crowd of people streaming out of the school, but to his disappointment, he did not see the person he was looking for. "This wouldn't have happened if I had stayed by her side when the akuma first appeared." I mumbled under my breath.
I heard a scream come from the school, and one thought came to mind. 'Marinette'. I rushed to the akuma to only see that Ladybug was the one who screamed. I was disappointed. Still, I ran up to her, and was startled by what I saw. She had a cut on her cheek that was quite deep and was slightly glowing.
"How bad is it?" She asked me.
"Pretty bad." I said. "Now I've got an akuma to defeat." I picked her up and put her somewhere safe and ran up to the villain, who was trying to hit Esprit Fox with his whip, but failing. She was flying around, narrowly missing his strikes.
"Hey!" I shouted. Ènergie de monstre turned towards me, and Esprit Fox took the distraction to take the bracelet. She dropped it on the ground and stomped on it. An akuma fluttered our.
"No more evil doing for you, little akuma." I turned around, Wow, there is a lot of turning around to see people in this book 😂 to see Ladybug, who was standing up. "It's time to de-evillize!" She caught the akuma in her yo-yo. Then she released a pure, white butterfly. "Bye, Bye little butterfly." She then looked around. "Huh, I hope this works." She said, then tossed the end of her yo-yo in the air, shouting "Miraculous Ladybug!" A thousand little ladybugs spread from the end of it, fixing everything, and even healing Ladybugs cut.
I wasted no time and went back to the roof of the school, looking for Marinette. "Where is she?" I asked myself.
