A/N: Warning this is unedited and there's a bit of cussing. Also please listen to the song attached "Things I'd Do For You" by Astronomy because I got a lot of inspiration from this song.

Also this will be the last chapter. I tried to write another but it felt so forced and I was happier with this ending.

While he was driving, it took everything in her not to stare. He sang along softly to the radio while drumming his fingers on the steering wheel, even with that simple action he managed to look breathtaking. The sun lit up his eyes leaving her to silently wonder why people thought brown eyes were plain. She didn't even believe in a god but she swore that he must have been crafted by a god because no one is that perfect. How is it fair that all the beauty in the world resides in one person? Little did she know, he wondered the same thing about her.

For nearly the hundredth time within the last few days, she realized her feelings were anything but platonic and she was completely screwed because he would never feel the same way. Why did things have to change? Why did she have to fall so hard for a guy who was way out of her league?

"Are you okay Kai?" He asked shooting her a glance. Usually by now she would be dancing so much she would shake the car while screaming the lyrics, but instead she was quietly watching him. Zach could feel the tension in the car, but he didn't know the source and it was driving him insane.

"I'm fine. Where did you say the guys were?" She asked while forcing a smile on her face and pulling herself out of her thoughts. She practically cringed at her less than subtle subject change and quietly hoped that he wouldn't comment on it.

Of course, he noticed but he opted to allow the subject change. If she didn't want to talk about whatever was bothering her then he wouldn't make her. They could always talk later. He knew that she was the type that would open up if she wanted to, you can't push her. That was what he loved about her, if she wanted to talk about something she would. There was no hinting around with her; if she wanted you to know then you would.

"I think they went to some event with Logan. Honestly, I don't know, they left before I woke up." He responded with a shrug. In truth, they had invited him, but he had brushed them off by saying he wanted to spend time with Kaia, but he wasn't willing to admit that to her.

She used to be the one he told everything but lately, it seemed like there was a lot of things he wasn't willing to share. Part of him wished he could just admit his feelings to her but he was terrified of ruining their friendship. The last thing he wanted was to lose her. He wasn't even scared of her not returning the feelings; he was terrified that if they got together he would ruin it. He was terrified that he would ruin their relationship, friendship or otherwise.

"Logan Paul?" She asked for clarification. She had seen some of his content but only the vlogs with Why Don't We. Watching the vlogs her best friend was in seemed to make her miss him a little less, so she watched all of them like a million times.

"Yeah. I'll have to introduce you to him sometime, but fair warning he can be a little much." Zach admitted with a chuckle. Off camera he was pretty mellow but on camera outgoing was a major understatement. It had always been amusing to him how quickly Logan could change. Once he put down the camera he was a pretty calm person, but the minute he picked it up again it was all yelling and jokes.

"I think that's true about all your friends." She teased with a grin. Kaia would be the first person to admit that she was way too much but she knew that was one of the many reasons Zach was friends with her.

He rolled his eyes at her comment as he pulled up to the beach. Her thoughts disappeared the moment she saw the ocean. She had decided that she would bury her thoughts deep into her dungeon of sadness and instead focus on the moment. She wouldn't let her negative thoughts ruin her day at her favorite place with her favorite person.
