It was all his fault he know it, if only he listen to Mayura he wouldn't feel this way right now. Looking to Mayura he wonder, if only he focused with their relationship this wouldn't happened. Thinking about it, it started coming back to his mind how it started

Mayura is on her own today too, yes too. This isn't the 1st time it happen, Shimon is focus to his duties that he forgot he have a girlfriend. She wish that somehow he pay even a small attention to her

"Otomi-san, where's Ikaruga-san?" Benio ask as she saw Mayura all alone. Mayura doesn't know how to respond to her question so instead she smile sadly, after all this is the first time he forgot their anniversary

"Maybe he is busy with his duty as a member of his family..."

"You should talk to Ikaruga-san about this Otomi-san! If he continue to focus on his duties more and forgot about his girlfriend. Only you will suffer!" Benio said worried filled her voice. Mayura know she need to talk this to Shimon or else this will continue to happen

"Thank you for the advice Adashino-san!" she was happy that her friend is worried about her but she won't tell this to Shimon not yet. Because she knew...she was also important to Shimon, he was just busy that's all

And her guess was right. After a week their relationship came back to normal or so she thought. Shimon ask her to go out on a date but while they're on their date, Shimon got a call and excuse himself to Mayura saying its an emergency leaving her alone. She being a kind hearted girl let Shimon leave even though its making her sad

"I think I should go for a walk by myself then..." she sigh as she began to start looking around to past by time. And she realize  it felt lonely walking just by yourself

"Hmm...neko-chan?" the voice made Mayura look up. In front of her stood Tenma with a mitarashi dango in hand

"What are you doing here all alone? Where's your boyfriend?" Tenma ask quite annoyed

"He left for an emergency..." Mayura said looking down sadness can be heard to her voice

"...I think you should talk to him about that..." the sentence made Mayura look at him in the eye. Was it that obvious? That Shimon doesn't have enough time for her?

"All of us are already aware of it, but it seems like Shimon doesn't right? If you do not talk to Shimon about this only you will suffer! And I don't want to see you sad, also I know how does it feel when you're alone so I'll keep you a company!" he said with a smirk on his face. Mayura just giggle to what he said because Tenma and Benio said the same thing "Only you will suffer!" and they were right so she need to talk this out to Shimon

"Shimon!"

"Hmm...? Mayura why?" Shimon ask not bothering to look at her while doing a work that was given to him

"We need to talk!" Shimon look at her confuse. What do they need to talk for?

"Can you give it a rest already? I know you have duties that was assigned to you and you need to finish it as soon as possible but...you're losing all your time for it that you forgot about me your own girlfriend!" Mayura said tears threatening to fall down. Shimon didn't thought that he was forgetting his time for his girlfriend and that made him guilty

"I'm sorry, I'll make it up to you I promise!"

And he did what he told, Shimon make it up by being by her side but after a month he became focus on his duties again. Forgetting about Mayura again and this made her sad

"YOU SHOULD END THIS BY NOW MAYURA!!!" Rokuro said or rather yelled kind of mad by Shimon's antic

"Rokuro...?"

"It'll be fine by me if this is the first time but its not Mayura! This is not the first time! I don't want to see you always alone and sad even though you have a boyfriend!"

Rokuro is right this is enough, she'll talk this to Shimon and end it all. She know it will hurt her but she doesn't want to be hurt by him anymore

Mayura saw Shimon busy with his work as always, she will do it now. Now or never!

"Shimon...?"

"Ah...Mayura! Do you need something?"

"..."

"Mayura...?"

"...Shimon...this is enough..." Shimon continue to look at her confuse, why does she look nervous. What does she mean by that?

"...?" Mayura look at him determination written on her face

"Let's break up!" the sentence made Shimon stood up from where he is sitting and look at Mayura surprise

"W-what? Why?!"

"I think you clearly know the answer. This is enough Shimon! I don't want to be left alone again, I don't want to be forgotten again, and I don't want to be hurt by you again!" Mayura said and ran out of the room. Shimon just stood there not able to do anything, Mayura's word still sinking in his mind

3 months have past when it finally sink in to Shimon. Mayura broke up with him because he couldn't give her enough time that she wants from him. He regret everything if only he listen when she first ask him to give her attention. Now he was regretting everything that he wish, he can go back the time and make it right. But he cannot do that. And he cannot be able to take Mayura back with him again, after yesterday. Because yesterday Tenma announce that Mayura is now his girlfriend, and he know Tenma will treat her right than him. If he will even ask Mayura to be his friend he know that Tenma wouldn't let Shimon be Mayura's friend again. Because of all people Tenma is the one who knew that the past relationship that he have with Mayura began with friendship. He regret everything and he knew its way too late. Why does it keep happening? When the person beside you lost that's the only time you'll realize how much they worth to you. And when Shimon realize it he regret every wrong things that he made, but even though he regret it already he cannot change what already happen
