I sat on the swings alone, my friends where chasing boys around! I'm only in fourth grade, what am I suppose to do?! Get a boyfriend?! Maybe I should get one...no boys have germs! I swing slowly back and forth as a watch my friends chase boys around.
''This is fun! Swinging on the swings...alone." I tell myself. "I don't need anybody else." I tell myself. The suddenly Elijah sits on the swings next to me. "What do you want?'' I say acting like I don't care, cause I'm cool, totally.
"Your friend Tabitha hit me wth a rock!" Elijah said.
"Ha, loser."
"Who you calling loser?! I have a higher reading level!"
"Well at least I didn't get hit by a rock!"
"At least I wasn't alone."
"Meanie." I say still swinging on the swing.
"Lets see who can go higher!" Elijah giggles trying to swing higher than me.
"Challenge accepted!'' I try to go higher and higher.
"No fair! You had a head start!" Elijah complained.
"Tough luck.''
"I thought girls were weaker! I can't lose to a girl!" Elijah said.
"Heyyyy! Girls are strong!"
"Girls go to jupiter to get more stupider!"
"Ew."
"What happened to ashley?!"
"Ashley? Oh I dumped her! She was too annoying!" Elijah relied.
"What a kind person you are. You two were only dating two days!"
"So? Thats how much all of them lasts. No girl is good enough for me." It stays silent for a moment Lexi comes over to us.
"Hey Elijah!'' Lexi says.
''What?" He replies.
''You're my boyfriend now." Lexi declares.
"Okay!" Elijah jumps off his swings and holds Lexi's hands.
"But . but We are only in fourth grade!" I say. Thy both walk away. I cross my arms. "This isn't fair." I told myself
