Kawaii~Chan looked around dazed. She blinked multiple times and her eyes were darting around the room.

"Kawaii~Chan, you okay?" I asked as I approached her.

There was silence before Kawaii~Chan answered. "Kawaii~Chan is okay.....but not okay.."

Lucinda looked down before grabbing both Kawaii~Chan and I and pushing us out the door. "Hurry and confess already!" She sighed.

With the forceful push I stumbled foreward and ran right into Kawaii~Chan. We both fell to the ground and I was hovering over her. Our faces were inches apart but I didn't realize that until I opened my eyes.

"Dante~Kun, can Kawaii~Chan get up please?" She said.

"Oh! Sorry." I panicked and quickly moved, helping Kawaii~Chan to her feet.

There was an awkward silence before Kawaii~Chan tugged on the hem of my shirt. "Did-......Did Dante~Kun really mean it?....About not having romantic feelings for Nicole~Chan?"

I smiled gently before stroking her hair softly. "Yes. Nicole is now like my family...like, a sister. With you Kawaii~Chan I want to create my own family with you."

Kawaii~Chan grinned and jumped into my arms, hugging me tightly. I hugged her back and took a deep breath. "I love you very much Kawaii~Chan."

"Kawaii~Chan loves Dante~Kun too." She answered back.

My heart fluttered with joy and after a long time of embracing we headed back to the bakery. We sat on the couch and just cuddled and talked a bit before Kawaii~Chan fell asleep against my shoulder.

I picked her up and carried her to her bedroom. I tucked Kawaii~Chan in and kissed her forehead gently. I stroked her hair one last time before leaving the room and gently closing the door as to not wake her.

Now it was time to talk to Nicole. I feel horrible for hurting her and want to apologize. I left the bakery and went to the house Nicole was staying in and knocked on the door.

I heard footsteps approach the door and it opened slowly. "Oh Dante." Nicole said as she opened the door.

I smiled sadly, "Hi. Can we talk?" 

Nicole gave a small nod and let me in. We sat at the dining table and I began to talk. "Nicole.....I am so..so sorry."

Nicole smiled and reached over the table, punching my shoulder playfully. "Stupid. I'm the one that's sorry. I knew from the minute I saw you and Kawaii~Chan that you were madly in love with her."

Nicole gave me a gentle look before speaking again. "I was acting childish. I made both you and Kawaii~Chan get hurt just because I felt a bit lonely...suddenly seeing my best friend with another girl was shocking and made me realize how much I actually did care for you."

I pursed my lips together and then spoke, "I'm sorry." That was all I could say. I didn't know what else...anything else I said could hurt Nicole more.

"It's okay dummy. I'm okay. You just go and be with your girlfriend before she misunderstands again." Nicole laughed and stood up. I stood up with her and we hugged tightly.

"Thank you Nicole." I whispered and she gave me a quick peck on the cheek. I smiled and then left.

It was six months later and everything was settled and good. Kawaii~Chan started to date seriously and I moved out of the guard tower and into Kawaii~Chan's bakery. We had our happy little life and futur ahead of ourselves and one of these days I would like to get married to the one my heart and brain is filled with.
