A/N: Hello everybody. This is a special update because I've hit 666 reads. Prepare yourself for demons and possession...
"Dean!" Castiel called from the doorway, "I'm home!"
Dean walked out of the kitchen, his face all business. "Good. Are you ready to go?"
Cas smiled and nodded excitedly. He had been looking forward to his first hunt with Dean for weeks.
The hunt was an easy one: a solitary demon hiding out in an old warehouse. They pulled up outside the abandoned building and got out of the Impala. Dean offered Castiel a gun but he refused; he still felt more comfortable with his angel blade.
They quietly stole into the warehouse and looked around for the demon. They saw a a dark mass huddled in the corner, and went over to investigate. Dean readied his gun and Cas drew his blade.
The shape was only an empty vessel though, with fear written plain on his face.
"Where's the demon?" Dean asked immediately.
"H-he left," stammered the boy.
Dean sighed. "Cas, get him out of here. I'll do a sweep of the place."
Castiel was reluctant to leave Dean alone, but he took the boy back to the Impala anyway.

When they got home that night, having dropped the battered boy at the hospital, Dean couldn't help but notice that Cas was acting... different.
"Dean, Dean, Dean," he taunted, "Such an easy hunt. And you let that demon get away." He made tsk-ing noises with his tongue.
Dean looked at him. "Cut it out, Cas. That's not funny."
Castiel smirked like he thought it was the funniest thing in the world.
"Ok, Dean," he said mockingly. "Let's just go to bed."
They got in bed, and Dean turned so that his back was to Cas. That night, Castiel didn't sleep. All night, he stared at Dean's back broodingly, and decided that the time wasn't right.

"Dean!" Cas shook Dean's shoulder, trying to wake him up. "Dean, wake up."
Dean turned to face the angel and saw the alarm that penetrated his features.
"Dean..." he seemed like he was in pain now, "Dean... there's not enough..."
Suddenly Castiel's demeanor changed. He blinked, and for a second Dean thought... but that's impossible.
"Blankets," Cas finished lamely. "You're hogging all the blankets."
"Sorry..." Dean said, staring at Castiel's blue eyes. "How about we get up?"
"Ok, Dean," again, the way he said it sound almost like he was ridiculing Dean. He tried to get out of bed but found that he couldn't. It was almost as if there was an invisible wall blocking him.
Dean smirked. "Guess what's under the bed," he said, holding up a can of spray paint.
The demon was outraged, "You trapped me? Here?"
"You can't imagine how hard it was to sleep, knowing Mr. Blackeyes was sleeping next to me," he spat.
"So," the demon sneered. "You knew. I would've thought you were so head over heels for him that you wouldn't've noticed."
Dean's face hardened. "Cas would never have acted that way," he said coldly.
The demon laughed mercilessly. "Oh, Dean. I was only liberating him a little. You have no idea how much you test his self-restraint."
"Go to hell," Dean said, his voice even and calm.
"Been there, done that. But you know what? I think I like it here much better. Although this vessel is a little crowded... Not really enough room for both of us. And he's trying so hard to get out. The constant banging, ugh, such a headache."
Dean nodded. "Forget going to hell," he said, "I'm sending you there, you son of a bitch."
He began to recite an exorcism.
"Exorcizamus te, omnis immundus spiritus, omnis satanica potestas,"
The demon's eyes widened.
"Infernalis adversarii, omnis legio, omnis congregatio, et secta diabolica."
The demon started to scream but turned it into a laugh.
"You can't exorcise me," he choked out. Dean began to speak faster.
"Ergo draco maledicte, et omnis legio diabolica, adjuramus te. Cessa decipere humanas creaturas, eisque aeternae Perditionis venemum propinare."
The demon was trying very hard to keep himself in Castiel's vessel. Harder than Dean had ever seen before...
"It's not fair!" The demon roared, "This is my body, not his!"
Dean's voice faltered for a moment, but he refused to believe the demon's lies.
"Vade, Satana, inventor et magister, omnis fallaciae, hostis humanae salutis."
"You heard right. Remember me, Jimmy? Yeah, after your little boyfriend possessed me, my soul went straight to hell. But now, I'm back, and I'm here to stay."
"Humiliare..." he trailed off, "To hell? I thought you were still in there somewhere..."
"Guess again, Deano. I've been downstairs, and you wouldn't believe how long it took me to claw my way back u--" he broke off suddenly, and his expression looked labored.
"Dean," he gasped. "He's... not Jimmy... anymore. Finish the exorci..."
Jimmy took control again.
"What is it going to take to shut him up?" Jimmy said angrily.
New determination showed on Dean's face as he continued to speak in Latin.
"Humiliare sub potenti manu dei, contremisce et effuge, invocato a, nobis sancto et terribili nomine, quem inferi tremunt. Ab insidiis diaboli, libera nos, Domine. Ut Ecclesiam tuam secura tibi facias libertate servire te rogamus, audi nos. Ut inimicos sanctae Ecclesiae humiliare digneris, te rogamus, audi nos. Terribilis Deus de sanctuario suo. Deus Israhel ipse truderit virtutem, et fortitudinem plebi Suae. Benedictus deus. Gloria patri."
Thick black smoke poured out of Castiel's mouth and dispersed. Castiel collapsed onto the bed and Dean rushed forward to help.
"Cas, are you ok?" He asked anxiously.
Castiel's eyes flickered open.
"I'm fine," he told Dean.
"That stuff the demon said..." Dean tried to find the right words.
"It wasn't true. Not all of it. He did go to hell. That was my fault," he added remorsefully. "But the stuff about... liberating me. That was a lie; he was trying to mess with your head."
"Oh." Dean grinned. "So you're ok on self-restraint?"
Cas nodded. "For now," he said.
"Let's not test that then. I wouldn't want Smitey Smite on my ass, now, would I?"
"Oh, Dean. I could never smite you."
Little banter at the end there. So yeah I missed 69 and 420 so I'm glad I got 666. It makes it 1000000% better because this is the 13th update too. Don't forget to vote, and until next time, keep on keepin on!
