I am surprised I didn't get in trouble for pouring milk over her.

Usually you do.

I guess it's different in collage. I knew I had made an enemy. I don't care. She could go die in a hole. Collage is going to suck anyway.

So I might as well make friends.

I paused outside of my dorm room. Taking a deep breath, I step in.

Stephanie was reading.

"Hey. I'm sorry for earlier. Its a hard subject for me. Friends?" I offered my hand.

She smiled. "Friends."

For the rest of collage, Stephanie and I were always together.

Best friends grow separately but never apart, which is exactly what we did.  We had the best of times forgetting about boys.

Until I met the one that was like Sam.

He scared me, but Stephanie was the reason I finally faced it and told him.

I’m glad I did.
