Thirty seven

More doctors came out than they were going in.

After about 10 minutes of doctors going in and out of the room. A woman came up to us and said

'Are you guys here for Grayson Dolan?' She smiles

'Yes' Ethan says looking hopeful

'Congratulations, Grayson has survived!' She says smiling even wider

'Thank you so much!' I say clapping my hands together

'No problem! Thank god that you were in there for him, if we were any later then he might have died' she says

'Good bye' and walks away

'Oh My god' I say hugging Ethan then hugging Sky

'You go in first Ethan' I say

'Then you, Sky, and then I'll go' I say

Ethan nods and walks into the room where Grayson was, alive.

I sit down on the chairs and start talking with Skylar who also sat down next to me

We talked for a bit, with big smiles on our faces knowing that Gray was alive

Then Ethan came out with an even bigger smile on his face. Sky and Ethan swapped places. Sky went inside the room and Ethan sat down next for me. Telling me how good he looks and healthy.

We started talking about food and pizza, and Pineapple pizza. Until Sky comes out and she takes my seat and I go inside the room.

I close the door behind me and look at Grayson, breathing, with his eyes open this time. He was sitting up on the bed.

I walk over the other side of the bed where I placed the chair and sat down on it.

I looked at Grayson then smiled at him. He returned a smile

I break into tears

'Never do that to us again!'

He just smiles at me and opens his arms for a hug. Without hesitation I lunge at his arms. And I can tell that it shocked him. I buried my face into his neck.
I could feel his smile on my shoulder

I pulled away

'When are they letting you out?'

'In about 3 days' he says

I stayed quiet, I had a question in my mind. I just didn't know if it was the right time to ask it.

Grayson obviously realized

'What's up?' He says

'Hm?' I look up at him

'Luna, just ask the question'

'Why did you break up with me in the first place?' I ask him

'Because, Jason came up to me and said that he will hurt you if I stay with you, I didn't believe him and said he can't do anything about it. And then he drew and a knife with your name on the handle. After that I got the hint, I didn't want you to get hurt because of me. That's why' he says looking down

I put my finger on his chin and tilt it up towards me

'Grayson, never believe a thing he says! It might be true but it most likely isn't, his dads a cop. And he will put his own son in prison if he did something like that. And anyways, I'll take the risk' I wink

'Wow, I should've told you earlier' he laughs

'Maybe' I giggle

Then after that, Grayson pulls me closer and kisses me. A kiss that I've been craving for a while now.

We pull away and look each other in the eyes

'I love you Grayson Dolan'  I say

'I love you way more Luna Hastings'

We smile at each other and the door knob twists and a doctor walks in.

'Hello, Grayson. I need to ask you some questions'

'Sure' Grayson says

'I'll be outside' I say

'See you soon' I continue

'See ya' Grayson replies

I walk outside and close the door behind me

I walk up to Sky and Ethan

'Knowing that Grayson was alive made my day a lot more better after the green line went straight.' I say as I sit down

'Yeah same' Ethan and Sky say

'He's gonna be out in 3 days, lucky. He misses school' Ethan says

We all start laughing at his remark. Although Grayson was lucky for missing school for 3 days. But not lucky for having a life and death moment.

Thank god he's alive
