Ep.6. It Wasn't A Lie

It wasn't a lie from what Mai said was true about her life being obnoxious.

We saw that this girl name Mai was about to duel with Joey for her strange actions about her. I don't like how she acts differently towards us and the new attitude she speaks with.

"I'm not here to tolerate any particular advantages while I in the other hand is preparing a match against Joey Wheeler." She said as Joey went wide open.

"What? Mai are you crazy? I don't want to duel you when we're on a mission to Atlantis in Florida." Joey protested.

"I do not care for any of your cowardly ways and that I should mean by not letting you go pass until you challenge me into a duel." She demand as Joey growled.

This challenge is hard to face including to battle a friend is much harder when you lose a soul. I can't just bare to lose Joey in this duel match against Mai.

"C'mon Joey! You have to win over freaky Valentine if she traps your soul then its over." I said balling my fist and scrunch my face.

"But I-"

"Enough talking! Its your move." Mai cuts in.

"At least Joey gets to have his chance to summon a monster to play." Tristan said.

"True. But this isn't going to last long since one of them is about to lose they're soul!" Tea exclaimed.

"Your about to meet Hermos!" Joey summoned his dragon on the field.

"Next, i'll combine Time Wizard and Hermos together to make it...A Winged Hammer!?" Joey exclaimed as we sweat dropped.

"Who cares! I'm gonna trust my deck and use the hammer to win this duel!" Joey enthusiams.

That's when a portal of a hole appeared on the ground making Mai's monsters disappeared!

"Where did all the monsters go?" I question.

"I don't think they'll be gone for good. They might return!" Yami said.

Just then Mai's monster Harpies pet dragon came back.

"The dragon! It came back!" I exclaimed.

"Hold on! It's the numbers that Joey has on them. Mai's dragon's weren't destroyed at all, they were sent into the future." Yami explained Joey's monster to us.

When Mai was about to attack Joey he activated his rolling dice which allow him to let the dragon lose 2 attack points and his monster attacked Mai's dragon.

Just then Valon jumps down to break the Seal of Orichalcous and Yami wrapped his arms to protect me from the Seal breaking free.

"Joey, are you alright!?" Yami asked his passed out friend worried.

"I'll make up for this. By taking your soul Pharaoh." Rafael pointed at Yami as he glared at him.

He then took the green stone off around his neck to brighten the room as I notice the gates weren't locked up anymore. When the brightness faded away we found those three gone and Joey layed on the ground.

"Joey!" Tristan and Tea ran over to him as he sat up.

"Where's Mai!?" He asked.

"She's gone Joey." I respond as he look down sadly.

"No...I almost had her tied at zero with me and now..." I put a hand on his shoulder and look down at him softly.

"Don't worry Joey, we'll get her back." I assured him as he nodded.

"I'LL GET YOU BACK MAI!" Joey vowed as I look at him sadly.

We all felt very sorry for him until a Blues Eyes Dragon was parked here and unexpected to be kaiba and Mokuba. They explain what was going on when they went to go visit Pegasus like we did and it turn out to be a trick. Duke and the two rivals of Yugi from duelist kingdom came in also. They said that a door wasn't open unless some key card could open it which Yami would be the one opening it. Duke showed us the way as Yami used the key duel card to open the door and it showed us to be a cartoo structure in here. Once we all got closer a hologram Pegasus appeared and told us about the man who wants to take over his and Kaiba's company and his name was Dartz. He even mention about some kind of creature called the Great Leviathon. It will allow to drain any persons soul as an unstoppable monster.

Pegasus said that he has a special card for Yami Yugi to play against Dartz and it was in the Pot of Greed. Tristan went to go dig in the pot and found the card, but it was completely blank.

"The fate of the world depends on you Yugi!" Pegasus exclaimed after he vanished.

"This is all a fake! All of you need to wake up and see that it's all an illusion to you." Kaiba said.

"That's enough Kaiba. It's not all about you!" Yami said as he pulled out his dragon.

"Hey, I have the same." Joey said pulling out his dragon.

Kaiba did the same as the three cards lit up like they had some kind of connection.
