Two Yellow Lines

The two yellow lines on pavement

The only thing that seperates the speeding cars coming to close for any comfort

In one car highschool sweethearts

Just married with a little one on the way

In the other car a single mom and her two sons

Coming home from a soccer game, cheering for they had both made a goal

As the cars come closer the birds go silent

The deer in the woods pick up their heads to watch

The rabbits hop away quickly

The cars are even closer now

The kids still laughing showing there missing teeth

The couple comprimising on which mom to name the baby after

ZOOM!

Both cars breeze past each other

The birds start to chirp

The deer begin to graze

And it continued as any other day
