I certainly wasn't expecting a diary, especially on my wedding anniversary.
What I really wanted was some jewels or perhaps some nice new dresses, not a crummy, old leather book kept together by some worn out strings.
But I suppose I should keep you; after all, you are a gift. Perhaps you can help entertain me, and give me something else to do besides tending the plantation.
Only time will tell if you can hold your worth.
