Eye contact.
Just for a split second.

And when I would look away , my body would tense up and turn to distract myself.
I couldn't explain it to Mason because I could barely understand this myself .

"Hey, are you okay?" a voice said to me randomly. I looked up immediately saw the blonde that Mason found attractive .

"Uhm , Yeah. I'm fine thanks."

The boy looked confused for a moment, before smiling, "You're Liam Dunbar.. In Scott's pack."

I nodded slowly, "And your...?"

The boy looked away from me , looking at the ground. I was slightly confused but when he moved his head, I saw Theo standing a few feet away. And I knew he was listening...

The boy continued slowly, "You're .... his..
"beta..."

He smirked and I was completely confused. "Um, yes.. That's-"

"Thank you. I'll see you later, Liam," he said before running off.
My brows furrowed and Theo walked over to me, placing a hand on my shoulder, "I think you have fans, Liam."

"And I think as much as you're in the same area as me, you might be one of them." I scoffed, grabbing his hand and throwing it off my shoulder.

"That's your opinion, Dunbar," Theo said in a low volume while he walked away from me.

I watched him walk away, and he looked back with his usual smirk and it sent shivers down my spine.

"I just saw all of that !!!!"
Mason's voice penetrated my ears.

"There was nothing to see."

"Um, liar lair, pants on fire, I saw a lil bit of tension there."

I rolled my eyes, "Whatever..."

"To destroy Scott, you must first hurt his beta."

"Yes I know! and I found him! Let me kill him, Peter."

Peter Hale stared at Devon, the chimera, "Not just yet.. I have the perfect plan for you . And then, after you do as I say, you are allowed to do whatever you want," Peter taunted.

"Of course ..."

"C'mon Liam! You have to stay under control if you're gonna learn how to be an alpha."

My body shook and my head spun. "I-m Trying!!" I growled loudly as Stiles and Scott stood aside while Mason chunked balls at me.

My eyes were glowing and my claws unsheathed and I groaned before saying. "The sun, the moon, the truth." about five times before calming down.

"Good job. You're your own anchor. Don't depend on anyone else cause no one stays forever, Liam," Scott said with an impresses smile before helping me off the ground.

I breathed loudly as I stood straight up along with Scott's help as he told me more about trying to stay in control, it was nice honestly how someone cared this much.

"I won't be here to save your life."
"You're going first!"
"That's the only reason i'm with you!"

I squirmed in my sleep , hearing the words over and over again.
The same words that Theo said about me. He said he wouldn't be around to protect me.

Honestly, the thought scared me for some reason because I keep thinking about how many times he had saved me.

From the dread doctors, from the ghost riders, and from the hunters.
And it was always me that he helped.

If the whole pack was in danger, Theo would immediately throw me out of the way. He would help me first.. & I knew it.
I knew it was the truth.

But he couldn't be trusted and I was sad to admit it, but I wish things would've gone differently. He could've really helped us.. All of us.
