"This town is burning, turning into hell, and the fire won't stop. Soon, all that will be left is ash and dust."
Caution!!!!!!! If you haven't already, please read Rose Thorns before reading this, it'll make a lot more sense if you do
I own nothing...
I said this last time, and I'll say it again. Please do NOT comment asking me to update when I literally just updated!!! Frankly, it's annoying and makes me feel like no one appreciates how much time and effort I put into the story. Anyways, here's the chapter!

The hours drag on, filled with pain and lots of screaming and yelling. Just to clarify, the yelling is from me directed towards just about everyone. The screaming is from Jason. Apparently watching someone give birth is utterly terrifying, at least that's how it sounded. Cheryl was in here throughout the process as well, and she didn't scream once.
"When he's older," Cheryl tells Jason, "I'm going to tell him all about how you screamed when he was born."
Jason groans, tossing his head back. "That's going to stay with me for a while, isn't it?"
"A while?" I speak up, my fatigue slowly fading away. "That is staying with you forever." Cheryl and I chuckle as Jason groans again.
A nurse walks in, a blue bundle settled in her arms. She smiles as she carefully sets the baby in my arms. My baby. Our baby. Jay Sebastian Blossom. I originally wanted to name him Jason, but Jason insisted it would be weird for our son to have the same name as his father. So we agreed with Jay.
"He's so beautiful." Jason coos, lightly holding Jay's tiny hand. Jay's eyes open, a brilliant bright blue staring back at me. It contrasts well with his strawberry blonde hair. "Our little knight."

It's been a week since the birth of Jay Sebastian Blossom. Since then, the entirety of Riverdale has been obsessing over the Black Hood, a murderer claiming to be riding the town of sinners. His attacks and threats have gotten so bad, that even Polly Cooper decided to leave. For what she believes her sins are, I don't know.
The worry of everyone's safety has increased so much, that Archie Andrews got this brilliant idea to create a gang to stop the killer. The Red Circle. Jason, being the foolishly stupid and amazing person I know, decided to join. I wasn't overly happy when he announced the news. We fought for a solid hour before I caved in. Don't get me wrong, I love that he wants to help protect the town, but what if something happens to him? What if the Black Hood goes after him next?
On a different note, life with a newborn has been difficult. Jay cries throughout the night, Jason and I hardly getting any sleep. In fact, the only time Jay doesn't seem to be crying is when I'm breastfeeding him. Or when he's asleep. He's only been around for a week, but he's got Cheryl wrapped around his finger. I swear, all he has to do is bat an eye and Cheryl will do whatever he wants. It's pretty adorable. Cheryl insists on holding him as soon as she gets home from school until Jason and I have to send her away to bed. I guess we're all like that. Jay is just so utterly adorable. It's hard to not fall under his spell.
"Where's Jason?" Cheryl asks as she cradles Jay.
"He went with the Bulldogs to Archie's. Red Circle business." She begins to tell me about her day. More specifically, Josie. I smile as she goes on about the dark skinned beauty, loving how happy she seems whilst speaking about her.
The front door opens, Jason staggering into the house. "Oh my gosh. Jason, what happened to you?" I question as I hurry over to him, carefully inspecting the bruises on his face.
I'm so busy worrying over him, I don't notice the figure next to him until he speaks. "He's Fine, Davy." Shock courses though my veins, eyes widening. My gaze travels to the person, mouth agape.
"Sebastian." My brother smiles, and I take in his attire. One thing stands out. Serpent jacket. "Can't say I'm surprised. But that still doesn't explain the bruises."
Jason awkwardly chuckles. "Bulldogs and Serpents sorta got into a fight tonight. I'm fine, don't worry." He leaves to clean himself up, Cheryl following after she hands me Jay.
Sebastian awkwardly rocks on his heels, a habit he's had since we were kids. "So, you had the baby. Con-"
"Cut the crap." I interject. "Cheryl told me you disappeared a week after I was kidnapped. She told me you said you were going upstate. But the Serpents? Really, Seb?"
"Have you forgotten the Serpents are our family? FP is a Serpent. Mom was a Serpent. Jughead is a Serpent." He moves a step closer. "I know you won't admit it, but we were born to be Serpents. It's in our blood. And when you decide to join, there's a jacket with your name on it. Now, can I please hold my nephew?" He gives me puppy eyes, and I slowly hand him Jay. Sebastian smiles at his nephew, poking his nose gently. I smile at the interaction.
"There's really a jacket with my name on it?" I question.
Sebastian looks up at me. "Of course there is."
So sorry it's been a while. I'm also not sure when I will be able to update next, probably late next week. Stupid freaking finals are taking up all my time. Anyways, I hope y'all liked it! Thanks for reading!
