Once upon a place there was a happy little girl,
Who thought she lived in a perfectly good world
As she grew up, she was known to the world outside,
She thought she was brave enough to pass every tides
She was innocent, her heart was pure as gold
But her purity got stained, she turned ice cold
She got bullied, she got tortured, she got abused by all,
She longed for help but there was no one to call
No friends, no teachers, not even her parents stood by her side,
She grew weaker and weaker, she got swept away with every tide
Her body, her mind and her heart craved for love,
She decided to stand up, she had just had enough
She fought for her rights, she fought against the violence,
Finally she knew it's not worth to maintain the silence
She broke the silence, she finally opened her mouth
And in the end she learned to "Speak out"

SPEAK OUT
PoetryThis poem is written against sexual violence and abuse that women go through . The words in this poem are simple. I'm not much of a poet but I hope this poem makes some difference.
