Nicholas Coming Home?

*a little over a year later"

Jake And Erika POV - we've been doing okay these past 14 months or so. Jake's been rarely in pain and has only gone into one coma and it was 12 months ago. The coma only lasted two hours though. It's been really hard without Nicholas. We even missed his first birthday. He's almost two now and we miss him more than ever. But since Jake's getting better and the doctor stopped his medication cause he didn't need we might go get Nicholas today.

Erika - " good morning Jake" I said as I heard him come down stairs

Jake - "hey baby" *grabs her waist and kisses her neck*

Erika - "stop Jake I'm cooking" *playfully pushes his head away*

Jake - "ok ok I'll stop. Hey what time are we heading over to team ten" I ask seriously changing the subject

Erika - "I don't know, I mean they don't even know we're coming"

Jake - " know babe but I just can't wait"

Erika - "what if he doesn't know who we are" starts to cry

Jake - *wraps her in a hug* "hey babe don't even talk like that. He's knows no one on the team is his parents. Anthony made sure of that"

Erika - "Jake I know but still. I'm nervous. We missed all his younger years. How can you repay that to a child" 

Jake - "Erika first off team Ten took the pictures of everything. And even if they wouldn't have Erika we couldn't help that this happened. Things happen in life at bad timing that you just can't control. It'll be alright."

Erika - "promise"

Jake - "promise" pecks her and the lips "now get ready I wanna be there as soon as possible. I'll text Chance"

*1 hour later*

Erika POV - we just got to team ten and I'm super nervous. Nicholas is my son so I don't know why but I don't know what to do if he has questions. We walk up the front steps and Jake knocks. Anthony answers and only Chance knew we were coming

Anthony - "hey how may I.........Jake? Jake!" Hugs Jake as tears dripping

Jake - "hey man. I've missed you" pats anthony on the sholde as he hugs Erika

Anthony - "so what are y'all doing here" 

Jake - "we will tell you in about 5 minutes as well as the rest of team ten now go get chance he knows that we are coming

*chance comes out and hugs them both*

Chance - "hey guys you made it I've missed you"

Jake and Erika - "you too"

*jake Erika and Chance walk into the office and Chance calls team Ten to the office for a special meeting every files in shocked and hugs Jake and Erika*

Jake - "so guys we've missed all of you but we are here for a very special thing today"

Erika - "yeah guys today" *takes Jake's hand* "today we are taking Nicholas home"

Team Ten - "oh my god guys I'm so glad its possible now. He needs his parents"

Chance - "Tessa go get the little guy and bring him down"

*tessa leaves and returns with Nicholas. She puts him down and team ten moves so he has a defect path to Jake and Erika*

Jake POV - without hesitation he ran to me and I engulfed him in a hug with Erika as we both cried tears of joy

Nicholas - "daddy?"

Jake - "yes yes. I'm your daddy. I'm daddy" crying as he engulfs him into a hug with Erika

Nicholas - "Mama?" Reaches out to Erika

Erika - "yes I'm mama" hugs them

Jake - "see I told you not to worry. Team Ten had our backs" whispers into Erikas ear before kissing her

*15 minutes later.*

Erika POV - everyone has said there goodbyes to Jake, Nicholas  and I and we are getting ready to leave. Jake has been playing with hi,a me they are racing to the car. It's so adorable how good Jake is with with him. Jake lifted him into his car seat and called for me to come on. I'm so happy our family is back together. Just me, Jake, and Nicholas. Life is good right now. No. Life is Great.
