chapter 1

on with the story

tris POV

I wake up to strong arms wrapped tightly around me. Tobias. slowly I wriggle out of his grip trying not to wake him up. I enter the bathroom and turn on the shower. I let the warmth surround me as I just stand there. then I smell something cooking. I step out of the shower and put on black shorts, a black crop top and my purple converse. I put some mascara and concealer on then walk out to find Tobias sat at the table already tucking into breakfast

"couldn't wait for me then?" I laugh

"n-op-e" he says with his mouth full

I just laugh and sit next to him and start eating. when I finish I see the time

"c'mon Toby, we have 10 mins until first jumper" I say

"wait did you just call me Toby?" he says with an eyebrow raised

"yeah why" I say

"never again" he says with a warning in his voice

I put my hands up in mock defence and then we both burst out laughing and cant stop until we reach the net.

"who ate bread this morning!" Uriah yells whilst walking over to us.

then all of a sudden we smell something.

burning flesh.

we hear a scream and a bundle of flames land in the net.
