32: Little White Church

It had been a few weeks and after going over seas and coming home, Catherine was second guessing the date. She was holding off because she didn't want people to judge her, but it didn't matter. She was completely and undeniably in love with Fergel Devitt and she had been since the day they first met. It was at the NXT facility and she was helping the superstars train, and she remembers meeting the eyes of her Fiance so long ago. She glanced at Finn, "What if we have a small wedding and not a big publicized one that is around a pay-per-view?", Finn looked at her, " What?", she softly smiled, "Finn, I want a little white church or gazebo, I want pur closest friends and family, I want intimate and not known world wide. I want something that is us.", he smiled at her, " Catherine? Are you proposing what I think you are?", she leant forward and looked at him, "I want to get married soon, Finn. I don't want to wait. I want simple and small and intimate.", he smiled and kissed her and she gave a giggle. " So, what's the plan?", she raised an eyebrow, "Let's get your family out here after we get suits and dresses. I'm picking Alexa, Nia, and Renee as bridesmaids and Brie is my Maid of Honor.", she quickly made a group chat and sent the message out to the girls and she added Linda and Stephanie. Finn made a group chat with Sami, Seth, Noam, and Aj. She smiled and grabbed a schedule and a calendar. She smirked, " Little White Church in December.", she smirked, "There's a building. It will sit about 100 people, its white and looks like a old country church. The company can have it set up on the backside of the property by the wood line and the little pond in 2 weeks. We can get married after Christmas. Your family and mine call all just have Christmas at the house. We have enough room and Dad will want to stay in the loft. So your parents can have our room. We can figure out where everyone else sleeps and we can sleep in the cabin by the pond ", Finn looked at her, " And then the night before the lads and I can sleep at the cabin and you girls can have the house.", she nodded and made the calls and then sent a text to the girls, they were going dress shopping on Friday. "December 28th, 2017. We have 21 days.", she opened her laptop and designed a invite using Photoshop and she used their photoshoot photos that the photographer had sent her. She emailed them to Stephanie and had them printed, " December 28th, 2017 at 2:30 Fergel Devitt and Catherine Hickenbottom would be married at their home in California. Brie, Alexa, Renee, Nia, Seth, Sami, Noam, and Aj would be at their house the night before the wedding and the guests would start arriving at 2. It was all planned and Stephanie was sending out the invites and working on getting Finn's family to the US. Finn looked at her and kissed her, "I love you, so much.", she smiled, " I love you too. Dad is going to make sure the workers don't ruin the trail and make sure the road stays decent so everyone can get there and the field is being leveled.", Finn nodded and they snuggled and turned on a movie.

Friday rolled around and Catherine got a dress similar to Princess Kate's and her bridesmaid dresses had a maroon base with a silver belt. Their shoes were the same material and maroon. Her bouquet had red and white roses and was held together by a silver ribbon. They were all made for the girls and they were all the same. The skirt fell to the knees and was tight but not too tight and the sleeves were to the elbow and tight at the elbow but loose and flowy up to the shoulder, the neckline was an a line. She smiled and the designer smiled in the video. Catherine teared up and she fanned her face before wiping it. "Honey, oh, don't cry.", Catherine smiled and the doorbell rang, " Oh, that's the girls. We will be there in like a hour.", the designer nodded and Catherine ended the face time and skipped to the door. She smiled at the girls and they all came in. Finn had already left with the guys and she smiled again as she played with her engagement right. The workers were there already and she sighed. "Are you sure you're not rushing this?", Catherine licked her lips, " I'm not. I want nothing more than to be married to him and come the new year, I will be Catherine Devitt, Catherine Balor.", she smiled, "I've loved him since I met him. I know its just a piece of paper and there's no rush, but Lexa, I love him and I want the world to know that I do.", the girls smiled at her and she glaced at the clock, " Alright, let's go.", she smiled. She was so ready. The girls all noticed and smiled. Catherine was back.

The girls all liked their dresses and they were waiting for Catherine, she stepped out wearing heels, a veil, and her bouquet. She looked in the mirror and put a hand to her mouth, terms forming in her eyes and she turned. Brie and Renee smiled and Alexa and Nia teared up. The girls got up and there was a massive group hug. Catherine started crying and it set the others off. The. Camera men smiled as well. They had been around during the last wedding and honestly, Cat wasn't as excited for the wedding with Dolph as she was this one, and she certainly didn't cry in her dress last time. She wiped her eyes, she smiled and gave a sob. Renee smiled at her. The two women embraced and Catherine was crying. Renee started crying and Alexa captured the picture and sent it to the women's group chat. Catherine was different this go around. She took a deep breath and they got the dresses all ready and Catherine had them sent to Stephanie for safe keeping for the boys. "Keep it secret, keep it safe.", she winked and the girls left, going straight back to the house and going to the pool.

Finn stood and smiled at the tux, "So, bets on the girl's already being home?", Seth laughed, "There's no way, they take to long looking at clothes and trying things on.", Finn chuckled, "You obviously have never done any outfit planning with Catherine. She goes in and gets out. She had a dress sent to Texas for Davina.", Noam frowned, "She still isn't letting her come home and backstage?", Finn sighed, "She's scared Bray will hurt her. If this week goes by with no incident Davina will be come and backstage again. Shawn says she's already on her next year's curriculum. We call and FaceTime everyday but Catherine hates not being with her.", Seth nodded, "Understandable. Cat does know that none of us will let Bray hurt Vina right?", Finn nodded, "Yep. He was a friend and now he's the enemy and we can't figure out why.", his phone chimed, "Pay up, Cat and the girls are at home by the pool enjoying drinks.", the group groaned and Finn laughed. He smiled as he got a text from Alexa. He teared up but smiled, "What's wrong man?", Finn shook his head, "Nothing, I just, I can't wait. We were going to wait but Catherine decided that she didn't want to wait but she wanted to still have a ceremony and reception. So, now our property has a little white church and an activities center on it.", the group laughed and Finn chuckled. "We know where the parties are happening.", and Finn nodded. "Well, we have our tuxes and we have correctly color matched the ties. So, we can go and wreak havoc on the girl's.", and the boys cheered.
