"Mom, I'm seriously not doing anything. I'm just chilling." I said to my suspicious mother, who barged into my room for the 5th time tonight.
"Mhm, I'm trying to go out tonight and I'm making sure there's not funny business going on." She said, closing my door again.
I rolled my eyes. I don't even look like I'm up to something. I have on yoga pants, a tank top, fuzzy socks and a scarf on my head. I'm comfortable in my bed.
Wishbone and I were chilling in my bed watching Adventure Time while eating popcorn with hot sauce. Wishbone was my other best friend other than Jahseh.
I heard a small noise and when I noticed Wishbone's ears perked up, I knew I wasn't just hearing things in my head. I paused my show to listen for a while.
Nothing.
I shrugged and played the tv. This time, the noise was louder. I smacked my teeth, annoyed that my show had to be paused once again.
The noise was coming from my window. "What the-"
I opened my curtain to see my crazy best friend before the window. He cheesed as he waved at me. I shook my head as I opened the window quietly for him and he climbed through.
I never understood how he could do this. Especially since I live in a two story house.
"Are you insane?! My parents are still here!" I whispered. He just shrugged. "You can't be here!"
"It's fine, we won't get caught." He nonchalantly said. "Isn't that my hoodie?" He said, going into my walk-in closet. I face palmed at the inattentive boy.
"Jay, we're about to leave." My mom came in once again, making me jump. Good thing Jahseh was in my closet.
"Okay mom have fun, love you."
"Yeah, just stay out of trouble." She said, slamming my door.
I opened my closet door revealing Jahseh holding his black sweater that he left here. "That was close." He laughed.
"It's not funny, bruh. We could get in big trouble if my mom ever finds you here again and you're just acting like you don't care." I said getting annoyed by Jahseh's irresponsible behavior.
"Because I don't care." He said, with a smirk.
"Don't even talk to me right now. You're pissing me off like deadass. No me estàs escuchando."
"Really Jay." He laughed.
"I'm serious." I sat on my bed with Wishbone continuing to eat my snack and watch tv. Jahseh sighed and sat next to me and laid his head on my shoulder.
"I'm sorry." He said making me scoff. "No for real, you're right. I'm not thinking about how you'll be effected too with your strict ass parents."
I didn't say anything. "You forgive me?" He looked up at me with a dopey smile. Even with countless tats and his muscular figure, he really looks like a big ass child sometimes.
I cut my eyes at him and sighed heavily. "Dammit Jay I'm sorry!" He yelled getting frustrated, jumping up from his spot on my bed.
I erupted in laughter, "Jahseh!" I exclaimed.
"What." He said with an attitude.
"You're so ugly." I joked. He smacked his teeth and plopped back down to his spot with his arms crossed. I rolled my eyes. "Of course I forgive you, Jah."
"Cool, 'cause we leavin' anyways." He stated.
"Uh 'we?' I think not." I said.
"Yup, get dressed."
