September 17th

"Y-yes?"
I straightened up my posture and brung my sleeve up to my face. I winced as I wiped the blood coming from my nose.

"Nice to finally meet you, I'm Dr.Kogen, are you alright?"
The man walked towards me and extended his hand out. Hesitantly I shook his hand. My parents did the same.

"Yes. Just a nose bleed."
I tell him with a reassuring smile. He raises one of his eyebrows but nods anyways.

"Well, this way,"
Dr.Kogen led my family through the hospital. Well half of it.

Dr.Kogen explained that I was be staying in section D. There were only five sections. Section A, B, C, D, and E & F. He never did show us the other places. Just section D.

"See, A, B, C, And E & F are For patients over 18 years old."
He tells us. My mother tries to grab my hand to squeeze it reassuringly; I jerk away quickly before she can even grip my shaky hands.

"The patients are also separated by their mental illnesses. You, Victoria, will be placed in a small group of individuals, in section D. Who happen to share your...compunctions."
My stomach twists as he continues.

As we walk through about three buildings I realize the buildings were A,B, and C. Mostly because before we walk into big doors a huge D is painted on the wall beside the doors. There's a front desk in each of the sections. In section D, a old lady sits behind the desk while her glasses are almost falling off the tip of her long and thin nose.

"Hello Dr.Kogen,"
She says sweetly, without looking up from the paperwork placed in her wrinkly hands.

"Mrs.Morris."
He nods and smiles at her. With each door we go through, Dr.Kogen has to swipe his ID card in front of a scanner. It's like a prison. And I'm a prisoner.

After a few more minutes of walking, we are in a big room. Two long hallways with a dead end.

"This is where you will be staying for a week or two,"
Dr.Kogen explains to me. My palms start to sweat when I look around. The one center room has a few tables and couches. Even a game system and a huge TV. Paradise.

"Great."
I say sarcastically. My father scowls and rolls his eyes. Dr.Kogen didn't seem to pick up on my sarcastic reply.

"These are the three nurses who work the night shift,"
He introduces me to three nurses sitting in a room; more like an office, with see through glass. Probably to watch the patients.

One of the nurses looked like she had just gotten out of college. Her name was Ms.Sherri. Then there was Ed. No, Mr.Ed or Dr, Ed. Just Ed. He was tall and thin, surprisingly he had a head full of thick curly hair. Ed was kind of attractive with his stretched ears and body ink.
His plain green nurse suit tried to cover the tattoos up, but he pulled his sleeves up and let his inked arms be bare. Last but not least, is Rin. Like Ed, it was just Rin. I looked closely at his ID badge, which was secured on his shirt. Rin Ram, is what it said.

"Nice to meet you,"
Rin and Ed shook my hand as well as my parents. Ms.Sherri stood back though. Scribbling on paper.

"The day Nurses will be here in the morning. They will introduce themselves in the morning,"
Dr.Kogen looked at his watch before continuing,
"Holy cow! It's nearly 12am. Now is a perfect time to get you in your room. Tomorrow we will set everything up."
He walked away and talked with the nurses for a second. Most likely giving me a second to say goodbye to my backstabbing parents.

"Oh, Victoria."
Mom pressed her forehead to mine for a second before pulling me into an embrace. I hugged back. Not as tightly as I should have.

"This is for your own good. In a few weeks, you'll be back home and ready to get back on track."
My dad patted my back with a worried grin on his face. He was never a hugger. Something we have in common.

"I'm going to miss you guys,"
I tell them, biting my lip to fight off tears.

"We will visit and call you when ever we can, Tori."

"Promise?"

"Yes."
My mom hugs me tightly and kisses my forehead before finally letting me go.

I watch them walk away. Mom wipes her eyes. It makes me feel bad knowing she's crying.

"Alright.. time for bed."
Dr.Kogen looks at a clip board, then sets it down.

"You're in room 7D. One of the biggest. Only because of your age."
He winks at me. And it makes me feel uncomfortable. Old people, sheesh.

I drag my bags and follow Dr.Kogen to my room. As soon as I open the door I don't turn on the lights. My bags are thrown to the corner and I'm already in bed falling asleep.
