Max pov

Y/n hugs me,her head on my shoulder. It's peaceful she doesn't talk and I sit there looking out into the water.

After a few minutes Gwen comes and asks to see me for a second.

I go with her and she asks me if I'm ok

"I..I'm fine" I look down kicking the ground

"Sure?" She said not believing me

I look over at y/n she's leaning on a post that's connected to the dock. She's looking at where I used to be

"Yeah I'm sure!" I say still looking and her

Gwen laughs

"What?" I asked her

"Go get her tiger" She said pushing me forward with her leg

I roll my eyes at her laughing lightly and smiling on my way back

"OH WAIT MAX!"

I turn back and she's hands me a pizza.

I give her a confused look

"You eat it" She said taking a slice and eating it "see"

I laugh and go back setting the pizza down and look over at her she's still looking down as if I'm not here. I stared at her for a few minutes and notice that she'll make a face every once and awhile either confused,happy,kinda mad, all that.

Eventually I go over and grab her hand

"You ok?" I ask

"I should ask you that" She said looking up and me

"Heh,well I'm fine." She nods as a response "deep in thought?" I ask

She nods again

"Max?" She says after a few minutes

"Yeah?" I responded

"Where'd the pizza come from??" She asked

"...water monsters" I say

She looks at the water shakes her head and looks back at me

"Fine. Gwen brought it over here"

"That's..more believable" She said

"Think so?" I said

"Yeah" She said "water monsters? Really?"

She blushes lightly at my comment

"Very funny" She said and took a slice

After both had a few slices

"Hey max?"

"Yes" I said

"I wanna show you somethin"

"What is it" I say nervously

"Just follow me"

I get up and follow her
